   We had a reservation for 6:00PM, upon arriving just before we were told by a server that the receptionist would be over to seat us shortly. At 6:15PM the same server had to go and find the receptionist and ask them to seat us. After another 10 minutes (and after the receptionist was rude to the server) the receptionist came over and asked for the booking name sarcastically before he sat us. We were sat at the table for 30 minutes and no server came over to take a drink order or to see if we were ready to order. We heard from the neighbouring tables that the staff were slow to come over to them, so we decided to leave. Another server from a different section apologised to us on our way out for the poor service. Would not recommend.

Delays in seating, poor communication, and slow service are not the standards we hold ourselves to, and we’re especially sorry this happened during a booking made in advance for what should have been a relaxed and enjoyable evening.    The customer service was very good. I mistakenly booked my table for the wrong date and getting it changed at short notice wasn’t a problem. We ate before going to a show, it’s in a great location.

   We were off to theatre and asked for quick service which we got. Lovely meal with great staff looking after us.

   First time eating at Rail House Victoria with my husband and two friends. Nice location close to Victoria station. Varied menu - lots of choice for everyone. Good drinks menu. Two of us had trout and two had the chicken bun. Please note that you need to self-order, using the barcode on the table, and also pre-pay using the app.
