   An incredible evening with outstanding food and impeccable service. We've been at Quince in Dec and this time it was even better. The food was breathtaking and the service was so amazing. #1 in SF

   Undoubtedly the best restaurant I have ever eaten at . The whole experience was unequalled from the atmosphere to the ambience, service and sublime food. Herman was our host and he was accommodating and went above and beyond to make our experience world class. The GM, Matthew made the effort to greet us and the knowledge of food and wine further enhanced our experience. We are visiting from Sydney, Australia and would make the trip from there just to eat here again. Thank you for the experience Quince.

   In a word, Quince is divine! It is very pricey, but we knew that going in. One word to the wise, though. We ordered a glass of Champagne before looking at the price. When I did see it, I thought it was for a bottle. We drank it anyway & it was superb, but we probably won't do it next time. We ordered the Spring tasting menu (the smaller one) & it was plenty ample. We were treated to a special visit to the amazing kitchen (What a show!) where we were treated to an extra course. My husband knew someone affiliated with the restaurant but this was totally unexpected. Hands down, this was one of the very best meals either of us has ever eaten & we have been to some very top restaurants in the world. Each table of guests (not just ours) were clearly treated with warmth & graciousness with the utmost care to any dietary considerations. Even if you are not accustomed to spending a lot of money for a meal, I recommend you experience Quince at least once in your life. We plan on returning for sure.

   Quice is an outstanding restaurant, as the three Michelin star rating indicates. The food was wonderful, the service was excellent, and the restaurant was quiet, comfortable and elegant. The restaurant is, however, very expensive, and the wine prices are particularly high. But considering the large number of staff and the elegant and comfortable seating, the prices are not out of line. (It costs a whole lot more for Quince to serve a diner than to serve the tasting menu at Gary Danko, Jardiniere or La Folie.) Over the last seven or so years, I've eaten at Benu (3 stars) and at Acquerello, Campton Place and Coi (all 2 stars), and IMO Quince is significantly better. My preference for a more affordable fine dinner (tasting menu) would be at Gary Danko, Jardiniere or La Folie, (none of which, of course, are cheap) but Quince is the best overall among the top San Francisco restaurants that I've tried.

   Newly honored with Michelin 3 Star rating made this a must try restaurant for foodies in or visiting San Francisco. The restaurant is beautifully designed and tastefully furnished and to me it is one of the most elegant dinning room in SF. The staff were wonderful, many have been with the restaurant from the start some fourteen years ago. They are most attentive, friendly and have somehow acquired the art of anticipation. They knew and offered before I think of asking. We had the Quince tasting menu full twelve course over three and half hours. It was truly an adventure of the senses. the subtle favor of buffalo butter and amazing favor of black diamond truffle outstanding. Yes we could not resist the extra supplement and ordered the golden Ostrava caviar panna cotta. It has changed our expectation of how caviar should be serve. We were told many of the vegetables were grown in their own farm. The fava bean in the Agnolottini with Paine Farm Squab was better than what We have had in one of the best of restaurant in Rome during May. The wine pairing was delightful. How could you go wrong with Heidsieck, Blanc des Millenaires 1995 to start, Clos de Caillou, Reserve, Clos-du-Rhode, Rhone Valley France 2014 with Halibut and Valdicana, Brunelleschi di Montalcino, Tuscany 2006 with lamb. Mocali, Moscadello di Montalcino, Tuscany 2010 with Strawberry. The service vessels were so very unique and artful, it is an important part of the three star experience. Our dinner for two was not cheap, but a very good value. If you want a truly 3 star experience, come now. Many of the other 3 stars joint have all either raised their price or cut down from 12 to 8 courses without lowering their price. Upon leaving Stephen Schmidt, AGM gave me his card and said, in case you have trouble getting a reservation, please call me. Now that is the art of anticipation I was talking about.

   Great 3 star restaurant that you can secure a reservation, not like one in Yountville. Wine list is very extensive but skewed towards Italian and French. Cooking style is French with Italian influence on use of pasta on couple of dishes. Based on website, we thought individual dishe was available but on Friday 4/14, only prefix was avaialable. Our tab was hair under $900 as we brought our wine. (corkage $75); basic dinner course with several cocktails. Not your

   Food and service was amazing. Dinner was long (4.5 hours). Our waiter Conor took good care of us. Solid 3 stars I'd definitely recommend!
