Situated in San Francisco's historic Jackson Square, Lindsay and Chef Michael Tusk's Quince features a nightly tasting menu that highlights the seasonal bounty of Northern California. Chef Tusk was named “Best Chef: Pacific” by the James Beard Foundation in 2011. In 2012 the San Francisco Chronicle bestowed a fourth star to Quince. In 2016 Quince was awarded its third Michelin star, which it holds to this day. The cost of the tasting menu is $298. Quince requests all cancellations be made at least 48 hours prior to avoid a $298 per person (plus tax) late cancellation fee; this policy also applies to same day reservations. If we are unable to confirm with you, your reservation will be cancelled one day prior to the reservation at 5:00 pm. Due to the complexity of the menu, it may not be possible to accommodate all dietary restrictions. Please note, our menu relies quite heavily on shellfish and dairy-based ingredients.

We had an amazing experience, will remember it for a very long time. Staff were great, friendly service and they made you feel special. Every course was unique and had incredible flavors.

We've been fortunate to dine at several Michelin 3 star restaurants and Quince outshines them all. We were blown away by the exquisite food - 12 courses, and each one unique and beautifully presented. The service was friendly, helpful, and impeccable. What a fabulous treat for our anniversary!

This was an amazing dinning experience. Chef and his wife thought of everything to bouquets of flowers to the silverwares. The food was amazing. It has to be taken into the context of the entire dinning experience or else you won't like it as much.

Quince is a quintessential fine dining restaurant that deserves every one of its 3 Michelin stars. Don't go into this place with a budget, but you wont be disappointed, the money is worth the experience and the food.

Wonderful Experience! A pricey menu but if you're looking for that once in a lifetime experience, look no further. I've been to some of the nicest restaurants but this very well may be on the top of my list!

Outstanding menu, one of the best meals I've ever had with exquisite ingredients. Also, the wine pairing was phenomenal. Deserving of their three Michelin stars.

We live near, and eat high-end frequently, in Manhattan. That said, Quince was a "10," its prix-fixe foodie menu fulfilling and filling, contrary to many tasting menus that leave one hungry. Quince says it's Italian, but the line between haute-cuisine Italian and haute-cuisine French is murky. This is a formal, though not stuffy, restaurant. The staff can be as distant or engaging as you wish, though never chummy. Its professionalism is noteworthy. Nobody says, "I'm Ferngood, and I'll be your server tonight," and as if to reciprocate, diners' cell phones were in little evidence. If that food and scene are of interest, read the two menus on its website. Everything on them is not less than excellent, some exquisite, so there's no point in my suggesting what you might choose. We chose the all-inclusive menu; in hindsight, we'd chose the slight step-down, as the two additional courses were simply excellent, not exquisite. Quince is the finest "new to us" restaurant in more than a decade, but there's a price to pay. First, reserve very far in advance. Then the tab: two upper prix-fixe dinners, a superb $175 red Burgundy, San Francisco's nearly 13% tax, and a generous (and well-earned) gratuity: $912 for 3 1/2 hours of pure delight.
