The cost of the tasting menu is $275. Quince requests all cancellations be made at least 48 hours prior to avoid a $275 per person (plus tax) late cancellation fee; this policy also applies to same day reservations. Due to the complexity of the menu, it may not be possible to accommodate all dietary restrictions. Please note, our menu relies quite heavily on shellfish and dairy-based ingredients.

This place is not something where I will go back. The food is 6/10 and I know it's a 3-star restaurant and because of that, I had very high expectations. The duck was really good and loved the bread.
Old fashioned - 3/10
Truffle and Risserto 3/10
Overall 6/10 based on the sitting, look and noise level. Crowded and Noisy place.
Drunk people because of way too much wine
Wonderful food and wonderful staff. Bravi!!!
Will definitely return, thanks for a wonderful evening
Extraordinary food. Inventive, with creative presentations. Wine pairing was spot-on. My wife and I will be talking about this meal for some time to come.
Excellent as usual. No complaints. Quince remains one of the top dining spots in the Bay Area and perhaps in the world.
I have been to multiple Michelin Star restaurants and I can say without a doubt this was the best dining experience I have ever had. The amount of attention we were given was just perfect. They took us into the kitchen for two of our courses to meet with the chef and watch the preparation of our dishes it was absolutely amazing. I can not say enough about the thought that went into each dish including the plating and utensils everything was thought out each dish was so composed and balanced. If you enjoy good food and fine dining you absolutely must come here.
The service was extraordinary. The staff went out of their way at the last minute to make sure that my wife who did not like many options on the tasting menu still enjoyed her meal. They were quite attentive and made it relaxed for a 3star Michelin rated restaurant. That being said I think some of the dishes did not live up to the greatest of expectations
Fabulous food, best on SF. We are at Saison previously and Quince was better. Only issue was service for slow second half of meal; couple next to use finished almost same time we did but they started 30 minutes later.
Excellent experience for our 7 year anniversary!
They went above and beyond to help me celebrate my first year anniversary. I do not just recommend this place.. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND IT !! Worth every penny. Thank you for an amazing night !
Another spectacular meal here. As usual there is a sense of play and fun, but also a sense of craftsmanship that defines the meal. The standout dish for me was an incredible risotto. This was completely different from any other risotto I've had: it was light and slightly crunchy, prepared tableside with parmesan foam. It was paired beautifully with Alba white truffle, truly an incredible dish that my companion and I are still talking about, and completely changes my whole conception of the meaning of "risotto". It also worked incredibly well with the truffle. Another incredible dish was the squab, perfectly prepared and tasting great, the squab really shone here. It sounds simple, just grilled squab, but was amazing. A fun canapes with smoked (and literally smoking) halibut with a bunch of other amusing sides. Oh, also there was an avocado sorbet with cucumber and sorrel, it sounds "healthy" but was actually really delicious. The desserts, however, were not nearly as good as they used to be here: much simpler and not as artful. Still, like I said, some of these courses were truly spectacular (I'm running out of adjectives here) and the meal overall, together with superb service, was absolutely wonderful.
Great hospitality, great night out with my friends who all were chefs!
This dining experience was meticulous and personal. They paid attention to every detail (we ate one course with tweezers). The wine was amazing. The staff went beyond all expectations to help me celebrate my birthday; including letting us eat one course in the kitchen.
Truly amazing experience. Amazing food and service. A night to remember
Beyond phenomenal. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an outstanding dining experience filled with flavor and incredible customer service. By far one of the best dinners I have had.
This was my 5th visit over a number of years--I've been 3 times by myself, once with my husband and this last visit with a friend who enjoys, like me, excellent food with a great dining experience. This experience is what sets Quince apart from other restaurants that serve excellent food (at a big price). Quince provides a unique journey and is only worth it if you are up for the adventure. We had the dinner paired with wine which, if you enjoy wine, makes the meal even better.
The meal took us more than three hours. The service is excellent in that they are there when you need them and absent when you don't. My friend (unlike me) is an excellent cook and she took notes on each dish and asked questions--some of the ingredients were things I had never heard of. This made the meal for me even more enjoyable. And when it was time for our "main" course we were invited to the chef's table for 2 in the kitchen. This was a priceless experience--amazing to watch the food being prepared by a choreographed group of professionals.
We showed 15 minutes before our reservations, were promptly seated, then not talked to or served again for 25 minutes until our first course came. There was serious lag between all of our courses over 30 minutes in most cases after we were done with each course. Other tables food and service around us was much more timely. For a 3 star Michelin restaurant that cost us over 1000 before tip. I really expected better service. The food was great, the wine pairings were even better.
Absolutely incredible meal. One of our top 3 meals of all time. Food was incredible, very high quality. Wine pairings is a must. Service exceeded expectations. Overall, we loved the place and will hopefully be back soon!!
One of the most memorable dining experiences ever!
Great experience. Food was a pleasure, service spot on. Had a group of coworkers next to us that came in 1/2 way through our meal. They were more party we were celebrating 10yr anniversary. Can’t blame Quince on that. Only course I wouldn’t recommend was the abalone.
I went to Quince to celebrate our Fist Anniversary and it was outstanding!
Excellent service and perfect food.
An experience to remember forever!
Quince was an amazing experience! The atmosphere in the dining area was comfortable and happy. The staff knowledgeable and friendly. The tasting menu was a great way to sample multiple offerings. The Wine pairings were genius!
First, I have to just comment on the wonderful service Quince provides. All the staff members are attentive and knowledgeable of the food and drinks/beverages.
Next, the food is ALWAYS amazing! I've been here at least 3 times and every dish prepared so well. This last visit my fave was the lamb - lamb chop with 3 cubed parts of the animal. The lamb belly was like nothing else, melts in your mouth - so tender and rich.
Quince is well worth the splurge. It's a memorable experience!
It met our high expectations. Every course was outstanding. Well timed. Perfect temperature. Welcoming staff. Our first experience at a Michelin Three star restaurant. Wow.
Amazing fine dining experience. The service was impeccable and every bite was superb. Quince surpassed my expectations and I will return.
one of the best
Absolutely one of the best restaurants in the world. The service, food, wine, hospitality, decor are all home runs. Quince deserves every single one of their 3 Michelin stars and then some. The risotto is deftly finished tableside where truffles are shaved tissue thin, floating like flakes of snow on top of the risotto. This dish is an aroma to behold and ethereal to taste. The wine pairings were total perfection complimenting each bite of food. Pours were appropriate and the quality of the wines superb. Quince is utter bliss.
The service, food, and ambiance were all outstanding! They truly made our celebration one of a kind! Every course was amazing and yet there was still this delicious building of flavors! Highly recommend!
3 out of 10 courses I think is not very impressive. with the price it is charging I would prefer Benu. Benu gave me a lot more surprise with their food and presentation.
Great attendance from our waiter
Great food and impeccable service . Been here several times and it’s a good place to bring guests from out of town ..
One of if not THE most memorable dining experiences ever. Absolutely perfect in every aspect. Perfection on a plate.
Quince lived up to the hype and it's 3 stars. Thoroughly enjoyed the tasting menu and wine pairings.
Great food, great service, great memories.
Food was exceptional, however the price of the wine pairing seemed high however we thought it may be exceptional - so we gave it a try. The pours were meager and wines were slightly above average. They did not live up to the pricing.
The food was off the charts amazing. We expected a show (and got it) and thought we would be amazed by the food- and how. Everything about this dining experience not only lived up to expectations but even surpassed and surprised. I loved the elegant, understated, but thought through decor. I loved the choice in music (light, fun and modern.) I loved how the wait staff was trained in great detail down to how they held their bodies while serving. I loved the constant changes in place settings, keeping us amused with each new choice of serving dish. And last but not least, every bite was a surprise, and adventure, a feast for the eyes as well as the pallet. My favorite dish this particular evening was the pasta with squab- but really why choose? Everything was just beautiful. Thank you to this restaurant for such and amazing experience.
Booked for a birthday whilst visiting SF from overseas. Had a fantastic time. Very quiet atmosphere and extremely dim lighting. Felt like a special occasion. Service was exemplary and accommodating. Servings were small per plate but somehow just right so that we left feeling extremely full! Delicious and inventive as expected.
Sitting in the kitchen made the experience. The service was outstanding (as to be expected). I was slightly disappointed in the food however. What ended up being a $1K meal for two people with drinks and tip, I left feeling like I wasn’t blown away by the food.
To be fair the food wasn't bad when you finally get it. We arrived on time around 5:30 or so. We were presented with the wine list and the tasting menu, exchange a few words with a waiter.... To make it short.... we started eating 40 minutes into our dinner (pre-fix dinner). They managed to mess it up a couple of times after that. The portions were small and the execution was very average. The flow of the dinner was the most disappointing part. We dined in many Michelin star restaurants around the world. In addition to great food, most of them have this beautiful flow.... there is no waiting at all... there is always something on the table.... starting from the treats from the chef and ending with some treats from the chef.... We actually used to like Quince when it just opened on Octavia street... Unfortunately, they became very inconsistent shortly after the opening. To sum it up - we were very disappointed and I am sure we won't be back. Don't waste your money. You can find much better places at $275/person in the Bay Area.
