It seems to have been short staffed as there were many tables available in the outdoor patio, but they couldn’t seat us. We waited 30-40 minutes and the tables remained empty?

Our first visit to San Diego, to La Jolla and to Puestos celebrating our anniversary. The food was amazing. We had the corn, chicken tacos, veggie tacos and of course the filet mignon tacos (melted in your mouth!). Our server was Sarah* and she was absolutely amazing. She explained the menu, made recommendations and helped us celebrate our anniversary. Overall, an amazing experience!

My family and I (seven of us) had my birthday dinner celebration at Puesto this weekend. What a wonderful experience! The food was incredible. Even with my dietary restrictions due to multiple food allergies, I ate very well. Our server took great care of us and made sure we had everything we needed. My niece, the foodie of the group, gave me the nod for picking such a great place. Thank you for yummy slice of birthday cake, too!

Overall experience was great! However regardless of our reservation, we had to wait 30 mins to get the table. They extended our reservation after our big party already reached the venue. They would seat us even though it was hot and not much room to stand by the entrance. After were seated everything went well! Our server was great and food was decent.

My daughter called the fried cheese on tacos “life changing.” The food was delicious, and they were very accommodating for my son’s picky palate. I loved that there were so many gluten free options, including desserts. My mango margarita did not disappoint!

The food was great and the service was very friendly. Unfortunately, the timing was just off. We got our appetizers and tacos before our drinks even arrived. The bar was slammed, so I understood, but it made everything feel off.

The food was ok. The chips and salsa were good though. The guac was good too but we opted to the one with Parmesan Cheese and the cheese was huge chucks and pretty strong for the guac taste. The tacos were not as good as they sounded. The tortilla was cold and the chicken Al Pastor is a nowhere close to Al Pastor seasoning. The chopped salad was interesting, perhaps soaking the cabbage would help. The horchata was on point, bravo. Service was great, friendly and fast service.

Went here for a birthday dinner and had the best time! The staff went out of their way to make it special for us, including cutting the cake we brought, a special bday treat, and a card signed by all the staff. Food was delicious, ambience was warm and fun, and we had a wonderful time
