First time dining here. Will definitely be back. Food and drinks were great, customer service was even better.
Food was flavorless. Service was great. Environment was great.
Service was great, our server was also the bartender and he juggled a large number of customers pretty well. My halibut was not edible but the staff was very understanding and did everything they could to fix it quickly. My husband’s steak was perfectly cooked. The music was too loud and people all around had to speak loudly to be heard over the music which ruined the romantic ambiance we were looking forward to for our 15 year anniversary dinner.
The service and atmosphere were wonderful. However, the prices for the amount of food served are outrageous. $108 for an 8oz piece of meat and a lobster tail? WHAT. For $50 a plate, I expect to have more than 1/3 cups of mashed potatoes, 3 cherry tomatoes, and three tiny pieces of squash with my 8oz piece of steak.
I would not deter anyone from dining here. But any prospective patrons should mentally prepare for the prices.
Excellent ambiance. Wonderful food. Great for a special occasion.
Everything was great as usual. I should have asked how much the special was before ordering. Didn’t expect to spend 300.00 on a meal for two, but it was good.
The only thing that was lacking was a sharp steak knife. The knife I had ripped the meat, not cut the meat. I didn’t realize the issue until I got home.
And today I looked at the menu prices and it seems all the entrees dropped by $10.00, not nice.
We made reservations for Thanksgiving night. Overall, it was a good experience.
Service was exceptional. Food was very good I thought the prices were very reasonable for what you got.
Great food along with great service ! Excellent Steaks.
Arrived early for reservation but seated promptly. Brad our server was great from explaining new menu to promptness but not intrusive. We had the salmon beautifully prepared, fresh and delicious
Food was bland and very disappointing. The restaurant was cold. The music was so loud it was hard to carry on a conversation. The only re-dreaming quality was our awesome server.
They were unable to find our reservation but still seated us immediately. Service and food was excellent. We had a great time and will go back.
Best fine dining restaurant we have eaten at in Colo Springs. We come to town every couple months as we live in the mountains to the west. Food was fantastic and we thought it was a good value for the money. Waiter and staff were friendly and attentive. Highly recommended - it will be a regular stop on our visits to town.
The service and food were excellent will definitely go there again
Quite impressed with this steakhouse, but would not put it at the level of Del Friscos or the other marquis steak house (Shanahan's) in Denver. Main reason for the 4 stars vs 5 stars was the flavor of the steaks and the noise level. The steak meat quality was excellent - definitely USDA Prime quality. But the filet was to have been cooked and basted with butter, which I expected to be very robust and flavorful. Instead, it tasted like an un-seasoned steak. It was incredibly tender and cooked absolutely perfect, but the flavor was lacking. This was the case on the 2 beef tenderloins ordered and the elk steak also. All the remainder of the food was excellent - carpaccio appetizer, brussel sprouts appetizer, side dishes. The noise levels were exceptionally high. We had trouble hearing each other from just sitting across the table. But overall, I was quite impressed with the restaurant and service and I would try it again, but would ask for some butter, salt/pepper to help with the flavor.
Waiter was helpful but restaurant was short staffed on waiters/waitresses, which caused us to wait longer than normal to be served and receive our bill. Salad and bread were quite good, but steak was warm at best when given to us and not as good as what we get at Texas Roadhouse. The restaurant was crowded and somewhat loud for us.
Had a great first visit. I didn’t realize they had a live musician playing which was great! Food was delicious. Service was excellent.
The service was pretty bad this time, but usually pretty good.
Nice environment. Polite waitstaff. Steaks are no longer the reason to go. They just are not the quality for the price of other steak places in Colorado Springs. The appetizers too seem to have been reduced in quality. This is not a bad review. I hope it is a helpful review. We had a fair experience but not one based on the over $1000 dinner bill.
Food was great the only thing I would change would be maybe bread or salad before you get your food my service was great and so was everything else I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to try it
Again i love this place
Our dining experience was very positive! Excellent food and service!! Our server was enthusiastic and attentive. The noise level was a bit high however, that perception may be only because we've been in a pandemic and we're not used to being in an energetic environment. I would like to have seen some safety protocols such as masks being worn by staff. All in all, this was an excellent dining experience. Huge kudos for a job well done!!
Major disappointment was too much gristle in bison steak.
We go out a lot to all the upscale restaurants and your food and service was tops. The food was seasoned to perfection I must say me and my wife loved it. My steak woo was the best I had in a long time, needed nothing on it.
Excellent food, atmosphere and service. Our waiter, Rick, was great.
Great place, especially for a special occasion!
Our server was excellent. Food was very good. However the hostess who Seated us would not accommodate us on a request to sit in a booth because we were just three and she did not want to give up a booth. I could understand if it was a Friday or a Saturday or Sunday night but it was a Tuesday night. When we asked her for different chairs because our seemed a little broken down she did not accommodate us. For the amount of money we spent we will go someplace else that will try to accommodate us with better seating and ambiance.
Good food, expensive, and very noisy. Kitchen service slow ( 30 minutes).
The only thing that wasn’t outstanding was a lack of salt & seasoning on entree proteins (steak & fish).
Service and food was excellent.
Outstanding service and meal! The best mule that I have ever tasted!
Staff was amazing and the food was really good! Def going here again
Great food and excellent service. The noise level is a little too high to enjoy the ambiance and conversation. However, I don’t know that there’s anything that can be done to mitigate it. The steaks are a little pricey for what you get, but very tasty
This place was awesome. Great food, great staff and great feel.
Food, service and music entertainment outstanding. We were early so we were seated at an available table, We wouldn’t have minded waiting for original table if it had been a better located one.Table was located upstairs as I had requested but at opposite end of music in what I thought was an odd location. (It was a table right across from the private room tables)It felt like a walk way for servers more than a good table location. Chairs were not comfortable. Chairs were more for cuddling up for drinks . Too cushy and low for eating.
I have to say, we were a little disappointed. I had the special, a 28 day aged bone in ribeye. It had a lot of gristle, at least 4 or 5 pieces, w was slightly over cooked and had some tough parts. For $65 it was fine, but I expected more. My wife had the duck. She received 2 smaller prices of duck breast. It was cooked well and had good flavor, but she expected larger portions. Over all the restaurant was beautiful, Rick our server, was excellent and the wine list was very good. All things considered, I don't think I'll be going back. It was too expensive for what we received.
great food and service. Very loud background noise.
The food was absolutely amazing!! Everyone was amazing and super sweet!
My wife and I split the wedge salad, ordered the crispy brussels sprouts and split the Delmonico steak, which was the best we'd ever had. Everything was cooked perfectly. Prime 25 is now one of our favs.
