Prairie Star Restaurant and Wine Bar at Santa Ana Golf Club has offered an unforgettable dining experience since 1986. Housed in a renovated 100 year-old adobe ranch house, the warmth and intimacy of Prairie Star is intoxicating. You may absorb the NM Territorial atmosphere of handmade adobe walls, kiva fireplaces and full viga and latilla ceilings while enjoying awe-inspiring and sweeping views of the golf course and the Sandia Mountains.

Our culinary team masterfully creates stunning Contemporary New American cuisine with global influences and Executive Chef Myles Lucero changes our menu seasonally to reflect the time and freshest ingredients at hand. Each dish is carefully crafted from the finest ingredients, locally sourced when possible, and organic, sustainable and fair trade items preferred.

Prairie Star serves prix fixe menus on major holidays, and you can find details at prairiestarrestaurant.com. We are closed Christmas Day and New Years Day.

Our facility is acclaimed for hosting tasteful events from social parties, corporate retreats, to wedding ceremonies and receptions. We can accommodate 170 guests indoors and our outdoor location can host up to 400 guests. The menu packages start at $32 per person. We can book events 7 days a week, breakfast, lunch or dinner--plated or buffet.

Mostly excellent as usual. Only shortcoming was the steak. Way too much fat and gristle, but the meaty part was good.

There were four of us to dine. Rhonda took very good care of us and everyone enjoyed their meal. Highly recommended!!

The service is excellent at Prairie star restaurant. We did the wine and dine meal, which is offered on Wednesdays and Thursdays and upgraded the wine. It was fantastic and we brought home leftovers.

We had a wonderful anniversary dinner here. Both food and drink were excellent. The strawberry gazpacho was unique and tasty. One of us had goat cheese ravioli and the other halibut with blackberry risotto. We very much enjoyed our peach cobbler with cornbread and green chili crumbles for dessert. The service was friendly and the view is spectacular.

Our server, Francesca, was top notch. The grilled Brie is to die for. The filet was perfectly cooked and my wife totally loved the goat cheese ravioli!

There is no nicer dining spot in all of Albuquerque! In my experience it offers much better cuisine and the best atmosphere and setting! Also the prices are excellent! I We would choose it over Los Poblanos every time!
