   For the 2nd consecutive time my reservation was not honored and I had to with a half hour for a table. The restaurant had begun to empty by then. It took 2 hours to get the food even though the restaurant was fairly empty. Very disappointing this used to be a great spot.

   We've been to Point 57 several times, and one of the reasons we keep coming back is the service. This statement was true until last night. After being seated quickly, it took me having to somewhat yell as a server was walking eyes down away from the area to get some attention. Now, please understand the restaurant was virtually empty. It was early evening and the majority of tables were empty. In the meantime, huddled around the kitchen and bar area were a minimum of six wait staff. As one server was walking toward the reception desk having just come from the kitchen area, I called out for her attention. I'm from the old school, which is once you are seated at the table a server should acknowledge your presence and either take an order for water/drinks or explain he/she will return in a moment or two. Five minutes of no contact while six or more wait staff are huddled in the bar area and kitchen area is not acceptable service.

   Service was excellent, overpriced food was good but not spectacular. Paid $38 for a piece of grouper! 2 person dinner tab without drinks, appetizers or desert $85!

   We had the lobster and steak and shrimp combo deal for $29.99. Steak is tiny but For the price it was amazing. It was great they let us have shrimp fried or blackened. Drinks were really fun and the house pino at $24 was a great deal! Our server was amazing! They even brought a free ice cream for my bf birthday.

   The food was good cannot completely rate the menu due to the fact that the menu was a Mother’s Day menu.  a lot of young women working there, I noticed that the sanitary cleanliness was put on the side.

   We had been here several years ago. It was great then and even better now our server was amazing and I believe the manager on duty was making rounds to tables and smiling and even clearing tables.

    A incredible staff and friendly bar staff as well, extremely accommodating and the food is first rate. I feel very lucky to have this restaurant in my back yard as I’ll be returning on a weekly basis so I can continue to try the entire menu.

    Point 57 offers a selection of dishes with a unique flair. I would highly recommend the crispy pork shank. They also have a great cocktail selection and the service was great!

    Point 57 disappointed. The Caesar salads were well dressed with very crunchy croutons albeit they were served with tomatoes. The buttermilk fried chicken breast was extremely small - a 3 oz portion. The chutney was left off of my pork shank and the blue cheese did not work with the grits and spinach.

    Great food, great service. Excellent calamari. Gumbo and Cajun Mac n cheese all very good. Nice presentation. Served hot. Banana bread pudding was a nice finale.

    This was at brunch and we have been here a few times. It has always been great. Today was no exception. I had Eggs Benedict and asked for medium poached eggs not soft or runny but not hard, and they came out EXACTLY RIGHT!! (This almost never happens at other places.) Everything else was delicious. We sat outside and it was very pleasant.

    The restaurant was running behind on reservations and it was packed. We had to wait an additional 40 minutes before we were seated. The quality of the food was good but the steak was overcooked. Even with those minor inconveniences, it's not typical for this place and it's still an amazing restaurant and highly recommended.

    We had our anniversary dinner at P57. 2nd visit for us. I had the filet special and my wife had P57 Salmon dish. Both were prepared to perfection. Dessert came with mine (cherry chocolate cake) and it was delicious. My wife had the crème brûlée. Service was excellent and the management recognized our anniversary by writing it on our dessert plates. P57 is our go to for special occasions.

    Make sure you are slim enough to fit into their booths! Booths in a restaurant with moderate prices, just don't fit into the decor.

    I took my wife to P57 for our 29th anniversary dinner. We had never been there , but it was recomended by friends. I made reservations and requested a quiet corner table. We were seated in the middle of the northside wall with a view of the parking lot and about a dozen flies that were on the windows. It was extremely noisy with kids screaming around us. The decor was worse that a Dennys. The food tasted very good but I got sick that night and could smell the meatloaf from my sweat. Very dissapointed. This was Friday April 14th 2023.
