    We had a lovely evening at Poeta. The new location is charming - old house with a huge yard and tons of plants. Food was delicious (spinach rigatoni was wow) and service was thoughtful and friendly. Love Poeta at Swoop House and can’t wait to go back.

    Huge fan of the original Poeta but the new location was absolutely fabulous, and service was on point like always! Can't wait to return.

    We have been patiently waiting for Poeta to open back up for months. Checking weekly. Well they definitely still got it going on!!! Best meal I have had in a while. We discovered Poeta by googling tuna carpaccio and we have been obsessed ever since. It was on point!!! I don’t care that it was a fixed menu. Every single item was amazing. The pasta was the best thing I have ever had. We are still talking about it 24 hours later. While I check my calendar to see when we can go back before the menu changes.

    We loved everything about their new soft opening from the moody ambiance to the delicious food. Hoping they’ll add the rotation to the main menu. I could eat a whole bowl of it!

    We just went for the soft opening and had such a great experience! The space is so cute, the ambience was perfect for a date night, and the hospitality was on point. Darian was our server and she was super friendly and enthusiastic. The food was delicious, that rigatoni changed my life! Exactly what you want in a pasta, perfectly cooked and the the tomato butter was rich and perfectly balanced. Can’t wait to go back!

    The dinner took 2.5 hours to get through. The food was very rich and had various issues. For example the tuna appetizer was way too spicy and hard to eat. The Wagu steak had major tough veins running through it and was hard to eat. We are fans of the other location and love the menu which is why we considered this new location. The food and service is much better there. Lastly the neighborhood is questionable. When we left to go to our car there was a couple of really shady and crazy looking guys slowly walking past my car. It looked like they were casing the place and we felt unsafe.

    Have always loved the food, and now in this new location it makes it even better. Attention to detail and flavors with every dish. Staff is really friendly too. Definitely one of my favorites here in Austin.

    Our meal was original and spectacularly prepared and presented. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable. I recommend POETA at Swoop House & Garden to everyone.

    Poeta at Swoop House is a true hidden gem. Set in the charming, intimate Swoop House, the ambiance is warm and inviting—perfect for a special night out. Ian and Krystal bring a magic touch to everything, from the impeccable service to the beautifully crafted dishes. Every detail feels personal and thoughtful. A memorable dining experience, I can’t wait to repeat soon!!
