   Our first experience at plank was wonderful. Several entrées were tried, including the salmon, scallops tacos, and several appetizers as well. Everyone enjoyed their meal thoroughly and the service was tremendous. Highly recommend.

   I am so glad they changed the menu I was so happy to have some of my favorites again. Will be back soon!

   We were greeted and seated immediately. Our waiter was friendly and personable. We ordered our drinks which were served promptly. We had grilled oysters as an appetizer and they were tasty and tender - best I have ever had. We also had a sweet lettuce salad. I had a lobster bisque which was extremely tasty and had several chunks of lobster - very nice. Not the best I have ever had but I did spend 23 years living on the coast of New England. For entrees my wife had a lobster roll which was excellent and used a butter rather than mayonnaise which she liked a lot. I had trouble deciding among three entrees but went for the blackened catfish and dirty rice. I really enjoyed. The entire wait staff was friendly and came by to wish my wife a happy birthday. Nice touch and very personal. We do a lot of shows and concerts downtown and always combine with a dinner. We will be going back to The Plank.

   Excellent food-fish expertly prepared and much better than dishes have had in Maine. Highly recommend!!!

   Tried the new menu and most of the dishes were good but they were out of oysters & mussels which was extremely disappointing for a seafood restaurant. Both our server and the manager apologized but that doesn’t excuse them for running out of key menu items by 530 in the evening.

   Hi Brad, Please let me be another member to say that, I'm terribly sorry for us running out of these two items. We wished that wasn't the case, as we had other guests try to order those as well. Unfortunately, we just couldn't have realized the amount of oysters and mussels that we were going to go through. This was caused by how busy we were, with gifting everyone a fifty percent discount. We have never done that before, give all our guests fifty percent off, and for a week too! We're just really excited about our new menu and wanted as many people to try it out as possible. We make note of everything and try and learn from it. Which we're doing with this whole roll-out too. We hope you'll come to understand, Brad. We'd love to serve you again down the road.    Plank was amazing. Food was excellent. Service was excellent. Our server Casey was super nice and attentive. He gave great suggestions and really took great care of us. It was my partner’s birthday and they really made it special. The only thing I can say is that they sold out of oysters that day, but other than that it was great. Get the crab dip! The hot sauce that comes with it is BOMB! Can’t wait to go back!

    We enjoyed our meals (there were three of us) and sampled each other's dishes just because that's what we do. We agreed that each of the meals were good, mostly above average. Our server was attentive and everyone was friendly. The upscale nautical theme added to a good experience. We will go back.
