We were trying to enjoy and nice dinner and the people at the bar were screaming and yelling and acting as if they were at a sports bar, really ruined the dinner for us.

We ordered from the specials board. Wife got rib eye which was overcooked and over seasoned. I got Ahi, which was way overcooked and salty. They remade my dish, but still salty. Cocktails were so so. Unfortunately it was a pretty mediocre experience.

Loved the Ahi special! The server was excellent! He knew the food selection wet, knowledgeable in the wine and always smiled!

Plan B is one of our favorite restaurants in Sacramento, and especially when we want to enjoy a dinner that just feels a little more special. The service is always superb. And since I love mussels, Plan B is my go-to. The night we were there the Chilean Sea Bass was also excellent. We have celebrated family events, birthdays, our anniversary, and each time Plan B gets great reviews.

The menu continues to have nightly specials, all of which were enticing. We had the duck breast, which was perfect. And friends had lamb and sea bass, also delicious! Service was slow but impeccable. It is pricey, and was louder than I remember it being, such that we felt like we had to tell to be heard by the end of our meal.

The food was excellent and the wait staff was very attentive and professional. However, it is unlikely that we will dine there again. The venue is just too loud. One could not hold a conversation at a table because of the din. Obviously, the restuarant is popular and very busy. I would say that most of the customers were enjoying themselves. So, while it is not for us, it may be an excellent dining experience for most.

Always amazing food with consistent wonderful service. I tell friends that I’ve never had a bad meal or problem. It really is a gem!

Love the restaurant. Just discovered that several months ago and went there 3 times already. Each time the foods were excellent! Got Lamb chop this time and was as usual excellent!

delicious food & wine with excellent service. We had the frisee salad, mussels w/fries, pasta with a bottle of cote du rhone.
