   This restaurant should be a showcase for Gordon Ramsey’s Kitchen Nightmares. I used to be a regular. Will not go back unless they change kitchen staff. They have come out of Covid with an awful taste and a mediocre service. Pity. Creamed spinach was disgusting. Essentially they steamed the spinach and dumped cream on top to overflow it with cream. One of the egg whites was completely raw (transparent) The beef carpaccio could have been supermarket counter. This is not the first time, I gave this restaurant a second chance, but the food quality and service has become a victim of COVID-19. The service from the kitchen end is a disaster.

   Shakshuka had no flavour, eggs over cooked on top and under cooked beneath, asked for extra chilli before realising eggs were under cooked and still couldn’t finish it. Wasn’t asked if everything was ok despite leaving 3/4 of my brunch. Service was ok by server but rest of staff standing around chatting and flirting. Booked for partners birthday and it was a let down to start the day. Also telling everyone who asked for a table they were ‘fully booked’ despite tables being empty everywhere was confusing - perhaps less flirting and more service would mean more customers = more money! Decor was lovely and that was unfortunately the only plus.

   Very nice place to have brunch. The waiter was very nice to us and the food was tasty. I was told that PJ's is a no-fail place to go if you want a brunch and I cannot agree more.

    It is a neighbourhood gem for many years, but unfortunately it has fallen from Grace in our eyes. The service is terrible, and food is less to be desired. It took over 50 minutes to get eggs. It is such a shame too, bc it is in a great location. I really do hope they are able to sort it out.

    PJ's was recommended by friends so I decided to give it a go for my birthday lunch with family. My daughter has an allium intolerance which I flagged when I made the booking. The kitchen was able to accommodate this so she enjoyed a delicious meal. Every plate of food was excellent - between us we had pie, curry, seafood linguine and sea bass. Puddings were great too - chocolate fondant, creme brûlée and a couple of liquid puddings - the After Eight and Tiramisu packed a great punch. Really lovely lunch, would definitely go back to PJ's.

    The waiter was so lost he couldn’t even remember to get a pen and paper. He genuinely looked as though he’d been out all night and not slept which was somewhat of a giggle at the time but would not bring me back. When the coffee arrived it was stone cold and the eggs royale were completely undercooked. Very disappointing as my guest had such fond memories of coming here in previous years.

    Food not great in quality and an hour waiting for our food and they served a requested medium rare stake well done. Had to be sent back! Definitely fallen from pre covid days when it was quiet good !!!

    Great independent restaurant in Chelsea. Super cocktails and nice atmosphere. Fantastic service from James who made some great recommendations and couldn’t have been more helpful. Highly recommend the beef and Guinness pie!

    A good meal in a unique environment. Service slow as lots of new staff and was reasonably crowded. Good starters and some good value wines. Fabulous bar area with historic airplane engine and propeller

    The loud music - which we asked several times to be lowered, - ruined the ambience. Add children whining, coffee machine grinding, and raised voices (as were necessary to be heard), it was oratory overload. Regardless, the food was good, the waitstaff attentive, the drinks tasty.

    I used to go to PJ's regularly but was so disappointed last night. The food was pretty awful - the mushroom gnocchi had no flavour/seasoning and very little sauce. The Pavlova was tough and there was very little cream and berries. For the money you pay, it was pretty awful. The thing that brings the star level up is the friendly service and the cocktails at £5 each - Monday to Wednesday - all day!
