We were at Osteria Mozza. This is one of our best restaurants in Los Angeles. We go there for the Rib Eye Steak for 2 and always sample from the Mozzarella Bar and appetizers.
They have created a center courtyard in what may have been a parking lot and it feels safe and and the ambiance is ok. Our wine Stewart was slow but otherwise it was a great and memorable dinner.
Excellent pizza and nice, low key ambiance, a bit on the high end price-wise.
Everything was delish. We shared a lot of appetizers and loved them all as well as the mains. We are so happy they opened the piazza
On vacation and we always come to Pizzaria Mozza. Nicely converted space in back due to COVID. Nancy actually came around to greet and meet everyone. The food,of course, was fabulous and we reallly enjoyed the Mozzarella bar
Great creativity in turning the parking lot into an Italian dining experience. You will pay for high quality food and drinks... but you will leave satisfied and happy you did. Also our waitress Alyssa was fantastic all night and genuinely cared about our experience.
We reverved and once we got there the place was close!!!!
Bad service from you both, Mozza and OpenTable!
Best ever, Nancy even came by the table to greet us and was very kind!
Worth it. We all loved our experience. Meatballs and pizza crust were perfect
Despite being unable to dine in Mozza’s beautiful dining room because of Covid , we had a lovely time in the charming converted parking lot. The food was , as always, excellent . One suggestion , some of the dishes were a little too salty.
We loved our experience- from our lovely server to a nice meeting with Nancy S- it was fabulous; great food and lovely ambience
Mozza & Osteria Mozza have always been two of our favorite places to go. The Cafe that has opened in what had been they’re parking lot, is the best of both. It’s charming, absolutely delicious & as always great service. We had a wonderful evening.
It was our first meal out since covid so I couldn’t have been happier with the precautions they took . Our waiter was there whenever we needed him but never invaded our space . The food as always was wonderful. The space between the tables was over 6feet . I felt like I had a vacation. Can not wait to go back .
Seating outside is uncomfortable and very noisy as it is immediately adjacent to the street.
Waiter was less than attentive. Pizza was good.
We love Mozza. The service and food are always amazing. Mozza is the best restaurant in California.
AmaZing food good time
Wonderful service and food. The new Piazza , i hope, stays even after restaurants open back up for indoor dining.
We had great service and great food. Service was fast but also attentive to their guests. Food was excellent!
Great! Will be back again soon!
The food exceeded all our expectations. There were some seating constraints given the Covid situation, but it was well worth it.
The new outdoor dining ambiance is adorable, warm and inviting. This was the first time I had brunch there and it was DELICIOUS! I recommend to everyone!
The food was amazing, service was super friendly and the atmosphere was nice and private.
The entire experience was outstanding. I actually brought a friend to lunch, and the oxtail hash was unbelievable. I have never had a bad meal from here the menu.
Nancy’s Chopped Salad was salty
Incredible service, amazing food, adore the al fresco dining area they have created too!
Mozza keeps delivering: its Italian based contemporary LA food formula works well for snobby Italians, hip Americans and everyone in between.
Highlights: cauliflower, pizza Margherita, pappardelle, tagliata, ice cream cake.
Nancy and her team have done a lovely job transforming their former parking lot into an Italian piazza with nicely spaced tables, white linen table cloths, string lights, and planters with green shrubs. The menu is a delightful blend of Mozza's Pizzeria and Osteria, which is the best of both worlds. The food was wonderful from beginning to end. This was our second visit since they created the patio and we will be back for certain!
Best place for nice xomfy and delicious food!! I got to meet Nancy Silverton which was a highlight. Amazing Pizza! delicious mozzarella and mussels! melon and prosciutto antipasti is a must have!
Amazing food. Outstanding service.
Great atmosphere for covid
Pizzeria Mozza exceeded my expectations! I went to check out this restaurant after watching Nancy Silverton's feature in the Netflix show "Chef's Table." I booked a reservation for Sunday brunch at 12pm and LOVED every bit of my experience. The waiter sat my boyfriend and I upstairs at a table that was away from the crowd, overlooking the outdoor patio of the restaurant. It was a romantic, private spot that was perfect! We ordered Nancy's Chopped Salad, the Egg & Bacon pizza, and the Pastrami pizza... Goodness gracicous. EVERYTHING was delicious... but the pizza was unforgettable. The pizza dough was light and chewy... but the toppings were so rich, dense, and full of flavor. I loved all the fats that were on the pizza. They don't go easy on oil, egg, and meat! Which I LOVE. I love full, flavorful pizzas!! Two pizzas and one salad were plenty to fill up me and my boyfriend. HIGHLY recommend!!
It was a lovely evening. Just wish they would have done something special for an anniversary, not even a candle was put in our desserts.
Amazing food! I recommend the Bianca. The vibe was alright (during quarantine) the tables are by the street
Superb food. Good service. Outdoor ambience
Great night out at Mozza
Food and service were wonderful
We always enjoy an evening at Mozza, and this was no exception. The "Piazza Mozza" concept is a winner, and I would love to see the outdoor dining become a permanent part of the seating choices even when we are allowed to dine indoors again. Food was great, especially the Lamb Spiedini, and the combined menu was fun. Overall, they've taken a less than ideal situation and made the absolute best of it. Great job!
Was wary about celebrating by going out to eat, but was very quickly made to feel comfortable by the way the staff was handling everything. The food was phenomenal and so was our waitress. That said, we also did get lucky enough to have a seat on the backside of the restaurant (what used to be the valet area) and up a set of outdoor stairs to be seated on a small balcony. That definitely added to feeling relaxed enough in a public space. The seating outside the front of the restaurant seemed nice but maybe a little too close together and certainly a bit loud from the cars on the street. The main seating in the back area also was very lovely, certainly had more space than the tables out front, but also seemed like it could have possibly been a little bit more spread out with two less tables overall? Hard to be hard on this place, I had an exceptional time!
It was one of the Friday nights during SIP. We were directed to the back where they had a nice big patio.
Even though it was outside, it was a really nice setting.
We ordered burrada, chopped salad, two pizzas, and a desert. Everything was so delicious! The service was outstanding too! Too bad we don’t live in LA but we will definitely go back every time we visit LA!
Nothing like Nancy Silverton food! Now with a beautiful outdoor pizza complete with balcony seating and spacious tables that gives you a slice of Italy to go with that slice of pizza ( better than ever!) Also superb wine list handcrafted cocktails and perfect service. Great summer spot -GO!
Still a bit anxious to be out in this environment, but they did a great job in the Piazza ~ only prob was the mosquitos, but that's hard to control when you're outside and I suppose it comes with the territory. Staff and service was wonderful - and food was top notch!
The food at Mozza, from the pizzas to the pasta and even the appetizers and sides are distinctive and delicious. Don’t go without the garlic bread and share an order of steak fries! They also have a great wine selection.
I believe food, service top notch... ambience... hum a parking load converted due to covid, ok and understandable, but not excellent...
