One of my favorite pizzas in LA! It was my first time in the patio and I loved it. The noise level was better than being inside. If you go with children definitely seating outside in the summer is a great option!

pizzas were great, tragically pastas weren’t so , I guess we’ll have to scoot over to the next door for great pastas ;)

The food was honestly next level. I don’t generally leave reviews but the food here kind of demands it. If you’re reading these reviews looking to see if you should go here or anywhere else, go ahead and stop your search. Trust me. Order the Japanese sweet potato for a doorway to heaven. You’re welcome. I mean it. Don’t go anywhere else. Get the potatoes.

This is one of my top five restaurants in LA, where I live. Though it is a "pizzeria", there are lots of interesting options on the menu. I *always* order the zucchini flower appetizer deep fried with cheese. Everyone loves those. For the adventurous, there is a bone marrow starter which comes out in the bone and is served with bread and various accoutrements including baked garlic. Excellent. And the chicken liver bruschette is also great. You can sit at the counter where the pizzas are being made. I sometimes do this when I go alone. It is fascinating to watch the care that goes into the wood (I think) fired oven pizzas and the way the chefs work with each other. It is always a good vibe, so it seems that they are treated well. You can't go wrong with the pizzas, but I recommend the fennel sausage, and the fungi misti. Caution: if you are considering their excellent salads, piatti or pasta, do not overorder pizza and instead get dessert. The dessert options change seasonally, but I have had excellent fruit tarts, gelato and other items. And another plus: the basic wine pours are generous and of good quality. No one I have ever taken here has complained. Enjoy yourselves.

always love our time at mozza. this was a special pop up event with the chef from pepe in grani. we like his pizzas but mozza has been doing it right for a long time now.

The service and food are good - the back patio is janky and has a “we made a covid style makeshift patio” vibe in 2025. Not even a piece of artwork on the brown wood walls. The pizza is great. Not just good but really great. Next time we will pick up to go or sit inside the dining room where it feels like a really lovely restaurant. We did go down the alley, past a packed valet to walk inside to use the restroom. That’s why we learned the dining room was actually the energy of a restaurant we wanted to sit in. The valet situation like many on busy city streets are a hustle and leave you feeling rushed and in danger it’s dangerous. Nancy kills it - just think the patio downplays the style Pizza Mozza is priced at and the quality of food is there.
