Pizzeria Lievito - South Kensington
The food was nice. It would be nice to have a dipping source option. However, the restaurant was set by the poor state of the toilet.
Very authentic, crispy pizza cooked to perfection. Highly recommended.
My friends loved the pizza. Sadly they have no gluten free option for pizza.
Therefore, I ordered one of the main salads which came on top of a “bread basket” - check menu carefully as this fact is well hidden. When I asked them to serve me just the salad portion, the manager came over to find out “ what was my problem”. He then brought back the menu to prove that the writer was right that it was stated on the menu. Sadly, this experience doesn’t encourage me to return.
So great pizza, but service not quite to the same standard.
Open table dining cheques are apparently not allowed in this restaurant, despite the booking being made via open table. The manager left the new waiter on his own
Very good pizza and nice staff
Tasty pizza. Nice place. I really recommend it. Good price
Honestly, I thought the food was much better, since this place has been recommended by some Italian friends. We liked the antipasto, but the pizza was nothing special.
Not so good as usual because the Pizza was not fresh due to the fast that the tomato sauce was not well seasoned (salt missing) and watery. The whole taste and the vegetables were not so fresh and also the spicy oil tasted kind of old or cheap. Not sure if I will go back.
Pizza at Lievito is something else and really, really Italian in that watery mouth way you only experience in Naples.
Service in the basement is a bit slow and they went out of all their draft biers (only bottled Peroni available, but definitely a place you can’t miss.
Sicuramente la migliore pizza mangiata a Londra e una delle migliori mai mangiate in Italia. Unico neo il locale rumoroso a pianterreno, molto meglio la sala sottostante.
Expensive, but the pizza is really good - best one I had in 4 years in London
Excellent as usual, only disappointment they did not have any desserts ready!
We had a really good Italian Pizza experience at Lievito! This brand is well-known in my country (Italy) and I choice it because of its great recipe, ingredients and high-quality flour and natural yeast. This is my favourite pizza in Italy and I was so glad to experience the same result in London! Congrats to the staff, very smart and well-formed guys.
Such a great local gem
Family friendly and fantastic pizza
Pizza topping esp mozzarella was not digestible
Small place, but was very overstaffed. We were sitting near the counter area and there was always a staff member standing next to us which felt weird. One of the pizzas was great but the other one which we ordered did not make it clear there was no tomato sauce. It was just a warm pizza dough with cold cherry tomatoes, cold mozzarella slices and whole basil leaves placed on top. Would have made a good starter but was not a good main!
We were only offered an option of two beers despite the menu having about 8 on it as well? The menu was also very overpriced.
We did appreciate that we were seated and accommodated before the time we booked and the staff were polite and friendly. Would consider recommending if someone was looking for a dog friendly pizza place but might not revisit myself anytime soon
Excellent pizza and service with a smile - restaurant could be a bit warmer especially for those tables near the front door.
Very good pizzas! Loved the thin crust, and fresh ingredients. We were also served quickly and liked the decorations. The prices are very correct given the area, very posh. I don't live there, but I'll keep that place in mind for future visits.
One of the best pizzas I've ever had. The crust is amazing!
We had two of the signature pizzas both exceptional. Amazing dough, perfectly cooked with outstanding toppings.
Definitely one of the best pizzas I had in London so far
