A party of 6 and sitting outside was pleasant , the place is huge with many different sitting areas. Service was swift and on point . They also have live soft music. Appetisers were tasty , the bread fresh with a dip of their own red sauce .

The restaurant is so quaint. Everything on the menu was delicious. I had the gnocchi and was very happy with it. Highly recommend

We had the best dining experience of our entire trip to La Jolla. The waitstaff are highly trained and truly amazing, every single interaction was seamless. Our waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable about the entire menu. The food is HIGH quality, I’ll be day dreaming of the lasagna for a long time. The ambiance was 10/10, music was not too loud but still very good, and there were plenty of heaters on the patio. We were highly satisfied with our experience this evening and hope to return soon!

It was our first time at this place. Great experience from the moment we arrived to restaurant. Its family owned restaurant and food was just amazing, made from scratch and well presented. Service was great as well. We booked another night right away. Highly recommend to check out this place

My daughter and I dined on a Tuesday evening. The service was friendly and very attentive. The food was excellent! Abundant gluten free options - best GF pizza I’ve ever had! My daughter loved the raviolis. Highly recommend!!

I have always loved my experience at Piazza 1909… but last night was not very good! Our food came out lukewarm warm and our dinner mates ate their food alone while we waited another 15 minutes for our food to be delivered back! The music speaker was right above our table and when we asked for it to be lowered nothing happened! Disappointed at the evening… not sure I will return !
