DISAPPOINTING. FOOD POOR TO MEDIOCRE. THE "WARM" OLIVES WERE BURNT TO A CRISP, PORK CHOP DRY AND OVER COOKED, PIZZA GOOD, PASTA FAIR. THE SERVICE WAS INDIFFERENT AND LARGELY ABSENT. WHEN OUR ENTREES CAME THE SERVER TOLD US SHE FORGOT TO PUT IN 1 PASTA ORDER. IT ARRIVE 20 MINUTES LATER WHEN WE WERE ALMOST DONE, NO POINT. AFFOGATO UNDRINKABLE, AT LEAST 2 TABLESPOONS OF LEMON SUGER (WHAT??) POURED ON TOP. WON'T BE BACK.
Ravioli for lunch was great! Espresso afterwards was a great pick-me-up for the rest of the day.
Piatti’s never lets us down and tonight was no exception. Our Server, Donna, was top notch. The dinner was perfectly prepared. Looking forward to our next visit :)
They have changed their Menu!!! The pizza was outstanding
One of my all time favorite places to eat, incredible food and service. Always a special experience!
The best Italian style thin crust pizza in Sacramento. The pork chop is one of the only tender moist chops I’ve found in town. One of our favorite restaurants.
I always love going to Piatti!! One of my favorites in this area!
Normally we have great food and service. Maybe the kitchen was "off" this night but my food was not great. The chicken was rubbery and the salad dressing was not up to par. Again, maybe it was a one off and for sure we will go back.
Great food and service. Highly recommend.
Meatballs and olive were amazing. Service was on point.
Great food and excellent service. Wonderful contemporary approach to Italian cuisine.
I took my husband here for his birthday and we were seated in a more private room, which was very nice. The service was excellent. We were greeted and seated as soon as we arrived. The waitstaff took our order and checked in on us throughout dinner and ensured that we had everything we needed. Staff were very friendly and the food was delicious. We ordered the beef carpaccio and chop salad for starters, my husband had the bucatini and I had the Mary's chicken and both were great! I would definitely return
Four of us celebrated my bitthday last night. The bolognese was excellent but bread pudding and chopped salad were only so-so. Ambience and wine selection were good.
The service was really good. However, the food was only mediocre.
GREAT BUSINESS PLACE, MEETINGS. ONE OF MY FAVORITE RESTAURANTS IN SACRAMENTO.
Loved the atmosphere and the waiters and waitresses waited very diligently and checked up on you regularly. I felt like they really cared. Thanks for making my anniversary so special!
I liked how spacious it is we did not feel cramped. My sons wine by the glass about 13 was sour or had a wierd tang to it, He did not want to complain. My salmon was vg. It wasn't amazing, but good. The home made pasta was vg.Service was great.
Truly wonderful menu, excellent service, and COVID protocols made us feel safe. On-line reservation system is convenient and efficient—and my request for my favorite table was honored!
My table was ready upon arrival. The wait staff was extremely good. The food was excellent.
Comfortable atmosphere for a business meeting with adequate distance between tables. Food was great along with the service and ambiance.
Salmon was delicious. Risotto was delicious. Ciabatta bread was delicious. Pistachio gelato was very yummy. Overall great Christmas Eve dinner!
A spacious venue that allows for intimate dining of a well priced meal. I chose this restaurant for our Christmas Eve dinner in Sacramento back in October. I was previously looking for an Italian restaurant in Napa area, but my first 2 choices were not going to be open, so I decided to stay closer to home. We had never been to Piatti and found the venue to be spacious and the menu appealing. We loved the bread and dipping oil, but it's not complimentary just so you know. We ordered the Frito misto, the Beet Caprese salad, mixed salad, kid's cheese pizza, salmon over beans, Waygu beef with potatoes, Radiatore, and the sausage kale soup, tiramisu and bread pudding, along with the Laurent Brut. We enjoyed our salads and Frito misto, but wished the Misto had calamari in it and less thin onion bits. My daughter did not eat her kid's pizza. Mainly because the sauce was too much like tangy tomato sauce and not more milder and seasoned. I tasted it and wasn't sold on it either. My aunt loved her Salmon plate, and I loved the Waygu plate. My main issue was the soup my husband ordered. I found it a tad salty. The Radiatore ordered was past "al dente", but the sauce was very tasty. I didn't send back as I didn't want to inconvenience the kitchen or myself with waiting. I did mention it to my server. Our food came to the table piping hot which was very nice, but worked against the pasta. The bread pudding was very very good and way better than the tiramisu. The tiramisu was disappointing as I thought it was soaked with watery coffee and not strong espresso. I also thought it overly wet, and lacking in Cognac. The shaved chocolate added to my disappointment as it was crunchy and the lady fingers mushy. I did not care for the contrast, but it wasn't the worst tiramisu I've had. That honor goes to a place that used vanilla pudding instead of marscapone. Overall it was a nice meal, and well priced. The Laurent Brut was okay and I thought it paired well with the Misto.
They always do something special to accommodate those of us who are plant based eaters. Staff is friendly and attentive. Prefer the ambiance of outdoor dining but a bit cold for December.
Hadn't been to Piatti in 20 years. It's decidedly more kicked back than it used to be, and the vibe is very pleasant and friendly. The food was outstanding. It was a very relaxed and upbeat outing.
Fantastic cuisine! The fennel sausage and mushroom risotto was off the charts! I requested a quiet table and they did not disappoint. Finally, Karly our server was fabulous! A perfect evening.
Excellent dinner and our server Donna was the best!
We do always enjoy dining at Piatti...it is like a mini vacation!
Second year anniversary dinner, loved it!
It was cold. People used the door next to the round drive next to fair oaks Blvd. cold also came from main entry
We love Piatti’s. The service is excellent. The food is usually also excellent. This time we had 2 problems. The salad had way too much pepper in it and was not edible. I ordered a pasta and asked that no pepper be used. The waitress told me no problem, brought the pasta only to find it loaded with pepper, which I could not eat. I substituted the bolognese, which is always excellent. The value for the food is also excellent.
Our server was fantastic and the food was wonderful!
My friends are used to enjoying fine cuisine in Napa Valley. They enjoyed Piatti and said it was a good choice!
Great service and food - what more could one want?
We are regulars and we love the place.
It’s always a great time and the food’s good
Mother & Daughter early dinner after attending the Nutcracker for the Holidays.
Very good food and nice friendly service
Great experience!! :)
The food was excellent, but the waitresses did not know what she was doing. If I go back, I definitely will not sit in her area. She was rude and
obnoxious. She gives the restaurant a bad name and should be fired.
Very dog friendly with treats and water. The food is consistently good.
Everyone working are so nice.
