   Amazing experience! Very cool, fun dining room. Excellent service, the staff is happy, knowledgeable and incredibly efficient. Food is on point, great, layered flavors, portions allow you to try everything

   This was my first time visiting and I went for my birthday as a group of 4. It was a great evening. The food was very high quality and the Maitake mushroom taco was really, really good. I also the carne asada taco and the chicken taco. I think the chicken was better than the asada but the quality of both was great. The tacos came out fairly tepid which makes a difference, but the maitake taco I would make special visits to Petty Cash for - I found it that yummy. One friend had the cauliflower nachos and really liked them.

    The tacos are great and consistent. We love this spot but service, especially on weekends, has really declined. Our waiter was rude and left our table without checking on us, until we had to finally flag someone else down for the check.

    Everything is amazing from the food to the service to the ambience! The new menu items were delish, we tried the empanadas. Definitely want to try the enchiladas too, but saving for next time. The dessert was amazing from the ice cream to the churros. So good! If you haven’t tried petty cash you are missing out! Also say hi to Kelly because she is awesome!

    Absolute amazing experience as always! Kelly the manager is incredible! She always has a wonderful way of making you feel super special! & our server Aaron is exceptional! This is my favorite restaurant in LA. The food is always delicious. Those cauliflower nachos 😍😋 Never a bad experience! Cant wait to go back

    The restaurant has devolved into a money pit. It’s extraordinarily overpriced. The food dishes have shrunk in size and they want to get you in and out as fast as possible.

    The food was good and served surprisingly quickly. The noise level was earpiercingly loud making conversation more like a screaming match. There's no reason at all to have music playing that loud. A restaurant is primarily for food- that should be the star, not the DJ. The host at the door was perfunctory and rude.

    The Good Sh*t margarita was delicious. Food was really tasty - in particular the fish tacos. We felt rushed with the speed in which the dishes came out - all our food came out a once. The wait staff were really good at taking the food back and waiting for us to eat our first course.

    The live dj was outstanding, the drinks and chips and guacamole/salsa were great. The food was terrible, my fish taco was inedible. They brought out my husbands food when the rest of us were already done (or in my case, decided not to finish because I was a red the fish would make me sick, given it’s taste). It shouldn’t be hard to make exceptional Mexican food in this city. At the prices they are charging it should be outstanding not inedible.

    The Birria tacos were particularly fantastic, but everything was extremely good! Homemade, hot and fragrant corn tortillas. Go for the Birria and the Al Pastor. I’ll definitely be coming back often!

    I have been going to petty cash since 2016. I always have a great experience. The cauliflower nachos are my favorite that no other place can recreate. This was an amazing birthday experience. The manager happened to have the same birthday and she went above and beyond to ensure my experience was special! I appreciate all the wonderful staff, the amazing food and the drinks that kept flowing which all made my day incredible!

    Always our first and last port of call when we arrive in LA. Great margaritas - the Good Sh*T with a chilli rim for me and Pineapple Habanero for him. Great tacos and lovely service in a fun, down to earth atmosphere. Highly recommend for a casual night out with friends or family.

    Decent trendy spot. Tacos are massively over priced. Food was really good though, especially the pork quesedilla. Service was slow, but they warned us they were short staffed. All the servers that were there were great though. Not sure if I'd go back though because the pricing

    Staff is superlative! They go above and beyond. We asked about breakfast at another of their restaurants and they gave us detailed information. Server was attentive and informative. Food was amazing!

    Fabulous food. Amazing staff at every encounter. TOO LOUD for us. We sat outside and enjoyed our food. I wish they played softer, latin music, Rodrigo Amarante, Lila Downs; there are so many that would enable folks to converse without shouting... I'm sure we'll be back, but still sitting outside at the picnic tables. Other restaurants have done a better job creating an atmosphere around their outdoor seating.

    Petty Cash has been a favorite since it opened 12/13 years ago! The music and crowd always makes for a festive evening out with the kiddos who were babies in their little red wagon when we first started coming. Also great for a date night. Only wish there were more vegetables and straight protein options. Can you do lettuce wrap tacos?

    The food is good. we are older and try to go as early as possible because the noise is pretty bad and it's awfully dark inside.
