Beautiful and open layout with the Pacific at your feet. Elegant presentation, very comfortable and romantic. Traditional display of “today’s fresh fish”, just as you would see in Europe. The food was delicious.

Terrific view from top of hotel. Excellent service. Took a while to find the dedicated elevator to the 30th floor restaurant but was worth it.

Impeccable service, delicious food, & beautiful views. Perfect place for a very special occasion. Certainly didn't expect to find Dover sole in Hawaii -- and it was expertly filleted at the table. Would return here in a heartbeat!

Went to Pesca for our 31st anniversary. We had a Japanese fish cooked acqua pazza. You have to buy the whole fish and pay by pound. They recommend 1lb per person, but we don’t eat much, so 1.3 lb was more than enough for us. Didn’t have appetizers, since that always fills us up, and we end up taking the main course home. Over all, the food was expensive, but worth the price. The ambiance was wonderful and the view was great (top of tower) but we didn’t have a window seat. They gave us cheese cake for our anniversary, which we took home since we were stuffed. We had it for breakfast. Wasn’t as good as the rest of the meal, and definitely not close to my mother’s :)

We ate here in celebration of our anniversary and had an amazing meal! We shared the fish chowder and Dover sole, served alongside the Brussel sprouts and garlic rice. The combination was fantastic! We each had cocktails and enjoyed a delicious slice of ricotta cheesecake between the 2 of us. The service here was stellar and the view of the sunset and skyline was beautiful, as were the city lights once it got dark. This was truly a meal we won't forget!

Pesca is off to a great start. The ambiance and views are amazing. We started off with cocktails and both were very good. I would say that the "Smoke and Show" would rank as one of my top cocktails I've had in Hawai'i over the past few years and the prices were quite comparable to many places throughout town. For an app we had the vege chip tower, which was tempura battered eggplant and zucchini with tzatziki sauce. My partner really enjoyed the tzatziki sauce, heavy with feta, with the vege chips. We ordered one of the fresh fish by the lb based on our waiter's (Daniel) recommendation of the Madai. They served the fish two ways, one as a sashimi appetizer and the other acqua pazza, poached in a white wine sauce with tomatoes, capers, kalamata olives. Both ways were very fresh and amazing! The acqua pazza was cooked so perfectly it just melted in your mouth. The sashimi had a hint of citrus note and was excellent. For desert, we had the pistachio ricotta cheesecake, which was really good. It could have used a sauce or maybe a bit of honey drizzled over the top, but I am always of fan of ricotta over cream cheese for my cheesecake. :) This place is worth a try.

Interesting concept where you get to select your own fresh catch. You buy the whole fish which is then cooked to chef’s reccomendations. Note it’s the WHOLE fish. Server was very knowledgeable about the selections but not so good about estimating the weight or the number of servings for the catch. He told us the one we selected was about 1-1.5 lbs and for the two of us when in fact it was closer to 3 lbs and could have easily served 4. And at $43/lb, fresh and delicious as it was, being that misinformed left a bad taste. That being said, the skillful presentation of the filleting table side was enjoyable as was the beet appetizer and delicious garlic rice. GM was very friendly.

I dined here with business colleagues last night. The pros: beautiful views, nicely designed restaurant, good service. The cons: the food, aside from a couple of dishes, was just okay and was really expensive. Our favorite dish was the seafood appetizer ($100) and the side of roasted Brussels sprouts. The pasta lacked flavor and other sides were just okay. I’d recommend going elsewhere unless you go for the fresh fish and are okay paying $150 per person per meal.

This restaurant didn’t seem ready for prime time
The food was really fresh but maybe a little overpriced even for top of the hotel views (seafood platter -$100 for instance)
Fish chowder (Manhattan style) was too salty but with really fresh fish
Wait staff was tripping all over themselves, saw several waiters once each, water fillers, bus boys, all very disconnected, confused and confusing with their sincere desire to provide good service. (For instance one asked if we wanted him to leave the bread and another came a minute later and removed it without asking)
If the prices were half what they are it would have all been forgivable, if you charge premium price you need to provide service to a much higher standard

This was one of the worst dining experiences I have EVER had. While the restaurant is located atop a very tall building on Waikiki Beach and has very attractive appointments, I found myself wishing I had NEVER made the reservation.

First, the service was absolutely terrible. Our server took our drink order and NEVER brought our drinks!!!!! When asked, she acted like we never placed the order although we were very specific in asking her not to bring our first course before we had had a chance to enjoy our drinks. She did bring our glasses of wine however before we got our first course!!

Second, we ordered a whole fish (Durand) grilled and to be boned at the table. What a disaster!!!!! It was clear that our server didn’t know how to debone a whole fish, both from the fact that she was being “coached” throughout the process and when served, with NO SERVING UTENSILS, the presentation was just pieces of fish slopped onto the platter and FULL OF BONES!!!!!!!!!!!

Third, both the first course, and vegetable (Over cooked grilled asparagus) were served on platters with NO SERVING UTENSILS!!!!!!!!!!!

Lastly, and this is my fault, I should have NEVER booked a seafood restaurant which doesn’t server local seafood. I couldn’t believe that choices were 1. Loupe de Mer (France), Dover Sole (England), Durand (Mediterranean) and two Japanese fish. What a dummy!!!! I guess I really deserved what I got…..HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!!!!!!!!!

We'd read rave reviews about Pesca and looked forward to celebrating a birthday there. Things started out quite well. but somehow between the appetizers and the main things got out of hand. Once the cold seafood platter was finished and removed we saw no one for at least 30 minutes. Then, the waiter stopped by to say sorry about the delay. A bit later a gentleman who may have been the manager came by and also apologized. Eventually, the Dover sole (which turned out to be $80+ per pound) arrived. We'd asked the waiter to suggest the fish as we did not recognize any of the other fish names also on the menu for market price. Our bill was well over $400. On the way out, we took a better look at the fish on ice with the prices. The Dover sole was by far the most expensive. We should have asked the price. We didn't. All together the food was about average. Had we not been able to see the cold seafood platter we would have had a hard time knowing what we were eating for about half of it as it was relatively tasteless. The sole was very good. The asparagus and the Brussel sprouts were nothing exciting. We opted not to have dessert even though it was a birthday celebration.

My husband and I spent a few days in Waikiki traveling from our home in Kauai. We love fine dining and were eager to experience the new restaurant Pesca. The restaurant is beautiful at the top of a high rise building. We enjoyed a drink at the bar before dinner. The bartender was extremely welcoming and made me an excellent Hendricks martini, just he way I like it with muddled cucumber. We had a nice conversation with the sommelier who told us about the Greek wines on offer. When our table was ready we were shown to a quiet corner with an amazing view of the Waikiki lights. Our waiter, Akira was most attentive as were the other wait staff who made us feel welcome. We decided on the Bronzino in a salt crust and to start the grilled octopus. A beautiful bread selection was presented with delicious spreads of hummus, babba ghanoush, and tzatziki. The grilled octopus was accompanied by grilled shallots a light salad with a delicious relish or compote of capers and pepperonchini. We chose a platter of grilled veggies to accompany the fish. The fish arrived and Was ceremoniously presented and deboned at the table. We enjoyed the Greek wines and were offered a tasting of each sold by the glass. The service was attentive without ever being intrusive. For dessert we decided on the Greek yogurt with berries and Hawaiian honey. Most refreshing. The meal was light, beautifully prepared and delicious. Our next trip to Honolulu will definitely include another dinner at Pesca.

The view to the top was breathtaking. We were there to celebrate my belated Birthday and our meal selection was so good. We started with wine, jumbo shrimp cocktails and Pesca chips followed by Spaghetti Pescatore, grilled lamb chops and asparagus. The waiter was very friendly and attentive. After our meal they were very kind to give us a tour of the restaurant. All in all, it was amazing begin to end.

I made a reservation for the first time on my wedding anniversary. I was impressed by the night view when going up to the restaurant on the 30th floor by a private elevator. After that, the meal at the guided seat was a dream-like time. The service is also fine and wonderful.

The only thing I can say is that when I was thinking that the length of the skirt of the woman who attended us to the seat was very short, I heard other customers saying, "Boss hired bring the woman who was outside." . I thought that a slightly more professional style would match the store.(sorry)

Our experience was exceptional! The ambiance, the fresh global seafood options! The personable service of Charli and the humbleness of Isaiah made us feel included, belonging. And the excellent quality of the prime rib eye and wagyu filet were the most savory and tender meats we’ve ever tasted.

Feeling decadent? Order the Uni Pasta!

Martinelli’s Pinot Noir + Pesca Beer paired perfectly with everything.

Room for dessert? We absolutely devoured every morsel of the Pistachio Ricotta Cheesecake.
