I got engaged Sunday night at the restaurant in Frisco.
Our waiter Andrew was outstanding and extremely nice.
The food is always excellent, I dine at Perry’s monthly.
However, There was a large party at a big table with an
infant and several small children. The children were all
tired and running around. They were screaming loudly
almost the entire 3 hours we were there. We sat across
the dining room from the table and it was still very
intrusive and disturbing.
Many other people that were sitting closer to the large
table complained before we did as we were leaving.
Nothing was ever done to curtail the problem. Never
saw a Managers presence once on the floor. This should
have been handled much better. Many people were
It was a very special evening for my fiancée and I.
I thought Perry’s was the best place to go to propose.
Unfortunately, I do not feel that way now. These rude
people with their screaming unruly children should
have been moved to a private room at asked to leave
if they could not control their children.
I am very disappointed, this was not the evening that
I had planned. I do not dine at Perry’s for this kind of
problem or ambiance. It had a negative effect on one
the most special evenings of my life. Why this problem
was not handled expeditiously I have no idea.
A Manager was never dispatched to take care of the
problem. Never saw anyone address the issue, it was
ignored even after multiple complaints. I am not sure
whether I will continue to be a patron of Perry’s Chop
House in Frisco or not. I hate this, as I have enjoyed
the food and had very nice times here in the past.
Andrew Smith Reservation for 7:30pm Sun Jan 16, 2022
Disappointed… food is not like it used to be.
We eat at Perry’s several times a year but was disappointed at the Frisco location last night.
Definitely some changes have been made to cooking, it didn’t taste freshly cooked.
Bread wasn’t warm enough and when cold it didn’t taste good in the past cold bread still tasted good but not any more.
Symphony kabobs were a joke A tiny piece of lobster that was half the size of the shrimp next to it. I thought it was shrimp from the shape and ate it first only to find that it was tasteless lobster
Beef portion was undercooked and shrimp was overcooked. I wish I had taken a picture of the lobster garnish!
The D’angelou dessert is not made table-side and the topping was not warm when poured over the ice cream. The whole point of that dessert is hot and cold.
Great experience for an anniversary dinner. Food was exceptional as always.
Great service and food. Temp was a little cool in the restaurant
Food was delicious.
Enjoyed our dining experience celebrating a birthday! Service was great!
Food and Service is always good at Perry’s
Pre Birthday Date with my wife went fabulous. Camilla made our time be special.
Went for the Friday pork chop and had reservations at 12:00. Line out the door so get checked in and although we arrived 5 min early for reservations we were not seated until 12:20. The manager was super nice and helped take care of the situation, but the process is severely broken. If you can’t accommodate a reservation or to seat someone at the promised time please don’t accept the reservation!
Food was outstanding but not sure I would go back. Especially during peak hours.
Perry’s is our go-to spot for a special dinner and they never let us down.
It was absolutely amazing from the food, atmosphere and staff.
Thank you for making this business dinner enjoyable.
It was our first time at Perry's and we went to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. Dillon was our server and Ivan was a trainee. Both of them were excellent and Dillon made several wonderful recommendations. The food and the service was outstanding and we will defenitely go back again. Great ambiance too.
The food was not up to par. This was our 4th time celebrating my special day with you. This will probably be the last for a while. The cream corn had cobb shavings in the dish. My steak was greasy and did not melt in my mouth. The sourdough bread was hard and not soft. You did not have candles for the complimentary dessert. The bacon on the salad was thin and oscar Meyer taste. What happened to the thick bacon? By costing costs, you have cheapened our experience. Howard Cortez would not be happy with our experience.
The last 2 times we have been to Perry’s, the experience has been terrible.
The food and service were the worst ever last night.
The server was taking drinks off of our table that were only 1/3 finished and not replacing them for long periods. Once the food was served, she never came back to the table until it was time to pay.
I had my entire meal without a drink. The steak was so incredibly salty that I couldn’t even finish it without a drink.
The steaks were not hot nor were the “hot” plates.
The seafood was so tough and overcooked. We would have sent it back had the server ever been back to the table after the food was served. Definitely not worth the cost!!!
Such a wonderful dinner - great food, ambiance, and a lovely server. Highly recommend this dining experience. Five plus stars!!!
We recently went to Perry's for celebration of a special event. We have been there several times. On our previous visits, the food was hot, service was awesome, and price was reasonable for a high end steak house. However, on our last visit, the food and service was not up to par. I asked for my steak to medium, and it came out pretty much very rare. . I asked them to bring me a separate steak and cook it to medium. They bought the same steak and it came out well done. The server apologized, and I ate the steak. This will be the last time that we eat a Perry's.
Amazing experience with delicious food. Our waitress was so nice and did a great job!!
Perry’s has always been a favorite for my family. Especially for celebratory dinners. I was very disappointed with the my experience last night. They are obviously remodeling. They sat us at a table against an unfinished sheet-rocked wall. The carpet under the table was patchwork and duck taped to the floor. We were there celebrating my sisters birthday. Not the experience or memory that I wanted for her birthday. I feel that the host should have notified us of the facility conditions when confirming our reservations. Frankly, I would have chosen another location for her birthday dinner.
We eat at Perry’s in The Woodlands Texas every week. We decided while we were out of town to eat at Perry’s in Frisco. The service was horrible. Our drinks took forever. We would have ordered more drinks but the waiter did not come back. Our sides did not having serving spoons and it took 10 minutes to find someone to get them. When they brought our food out they did not know who’s food was who’s . They waited for our waiter but he did not come back so we had to figure it out. Our steaks were not cooked correctly.
Great dining experience! Definitely, would visit again.
Food is always great. It's a little dark and a bit noisy, but always enjoyable. Would certainly recommend
The food was outstanding. The service was just ok. A little taken aback when I walked in restaurant and they had a piece of cardboard taped over a spot in the carpet.
Been here many times. Always a good experience but not this time. My wife ordered the prime rib; turns out they seer the slice after they cut it. So it tasted more like a ribeye. I’m sorry! NO !
Not to mention that it was a chunk of fat which was about half of the steak 🤬
Manager was nice enough to comp it but we ended up not really eating and still managed to pay $100 for two soups, a salad and one drink !
I think I’ll try other places for a long while.
The waiter was excellent. The food and drink was amazing only issue we had we nagging gnats.
Food was perfect, staff was a professional machine and on top of their game. Overall a great meal and dining experience.
Everything was excellent
Filet was raw when I ordered medium plus. They took it back three times and never offered to just bring a new one. Then they kept having me cut into it, so by the time it was mostly correct, the juices were gone and the $55 filet was cubed. Additionally whomever the manager had try to save that poor filet, put it under such a hot fire that the outside was burned and blackened to an inedible crisp.
Sides were terrible so I had no backup food. Cauliflower gratin was swimming in soup sauce and breadcrumbs hadn’t been broiled. Spaghetti squash isn’t even worth reviewing. It was unseasoned and terrible.
I figured dessert would be awesome right?? We were never offered dessert or coffee. The best part of the meal was my husbands seafood starter and the fact the manager took the filet off our bill.
NEVERMIND it was our anniversary dinner and we will be redoing it for sure. Elsewhere.
fantastic server and food was spectacular. highly recommend
It was under construction. Through off the ambiance. We waited a long time to get a drink and food. There was only 2 other tables and seemed like the employees were running all over for no reason.
I don’t understand why they can’t plate a complete meal. Everything is separate. So spend $60-$90 on meat/steak and then $13-$20 for potatoes or veg. Potatoes and veg are inexpensive and should be included with the meat.
Food was very good, service was average, atmosphere in back room was dull; seems walls were deteriorating- taped
Was a perfect dinner. We will be back!
Date night was fun here! Beautiful place. Great food.
I enjoy eating at Perry’s but this specific location does not have the best tasting food in my opinion. The waiter didn’t ask how would we like our meat cooked. She assumed I guess.. & it came out very dry and so did the Mac & cheese. I rather keep driving a hr to the location in Dallas.
Our server was excellent and apologetic however the food was subpar. I expect more from a high end restaurant. When we order $53 22oz steaks and they come out over-cooked, thin and small (looked like an 8oz skirt steak) and our chicken parm is over-cooked and difficult to cut and chew, that does not correlate to a good experience.
Great venue and fantastic steakes - services were very good too - one of the best steaks in Frisco
Great food, service and ambience. Definitely great place to dine with family, friends or your couple.
Our server was fantastic. Very attentive, professional, and friendly.
My friend found a portion container lid and price sticker in their soup…. And the manager comped a $5 beer… and thought it was good enough. The whole building was under construction. Not fine dining.
