Amazing and authentic Italian cuisine. Build your own pastas or go for one of the standard entrees or daily specials. Good wine selection and highly visible owners add to the experience. Located next to the train station downtown provides lots of activity and great people watching. Definitely recommend Perbacco for dining while you are in Durango….

Best food and service of anyplace we went in Durango. Awesome experience in multiple levels (service, bartender, food, etc).

We came to Perbacco Cucina Italiana for a family dinner (six of us) and were really impressed by the food — it’s definitely some of the best Italian we’ve tried in Durango! The portions were huge, and every dish was delicious. We had a reservation for 6:30 PM and we had to wait a bit to be seated, understandable because the restaurant looked busy. Our table was in a bit of an awkward spot, right between the bathrooms, a runner station, and the bar, which felt a bit cramped for a party of six and also why I think our table was a bit left out. While the food runner was absolutely lovely — she checked in on us multiple times and kept our table well looked after — our server felt rushed and a bit disconnected. She stopped by only like 3 times throughout the evening and didn’t take much time to walk us through specials or answer questions. Getting her attention was very challenging, from the begining to be able to orden until the end with the check. All that said, the quality of the food and the cozy atmosphere of the restaurant made it a memorable night. We’ll definitely be back for the amazing meals, and hopefully next time, the service will match the outstanding kitchen!

We dined on a Saturday night in June. Sat outside on their patio and it was warm and sunny, but they effectively utilize umbrellas for shade. The food is excellent, but the service is even better. From host greeting to check, the staff was friendly, professional and very competent. You can tell they have been professionally trained. Would definitely recommend this restaurant for Italian dining in Durango.

We are regulars and brought out of town visitors who loved their experience. Especially good were the gnocchi (which we shared as an appetizer) and the pork shank special (I ate leftovers for two more meals!). Great service. The owners are delightful and make their guests feel special.
