Could not get through to this restaurant for 4 days previous to visiting, they called me the day before to ask if i still wanted the table & left me a voicemail. I tried 5 times to get back to them to no avail???!!! Very odd! So decided to get a back up plan & went to a different place! You need to man your phones!!!

I booked this restaurant for a hen do meal but when we got there Peperoncino had closed down and another restaurant was in its place. We ate there instead!

Visited peperoncino for early dinner after matinee performance of Les Miserables at the Queens Theatre with my wife and daughter. Excellent welcome and friendly efficient service. Simple, tasty, traditional Italian food in a very “family” trattoria. Only about 20 metres from the theatre - would definitely visit again. X

Booking was very easy and reliable. Had a table for 10 in the window - perfect location and next to the theatre. Lovely attentive service. The three different gnocchi were a highlight! Definitely recommended for pre-theatre family meals :)

Our visit doubled as a family birthday celebration and pre theatre meal. We had booked in advance as there were 9 of us and we were quickly seated and our drinks order taken. Our waiter was friendly and attentive, anticipating when we might need further attention perfectly whilst not interfering with our celebration. Food was served promptly, everyone's meal arriving at the same time, and with just the right time lapse between courses. We all agreed that our menu choices had been spot on and beautifully prepared. Would certainly re visit when next making a theatre trip. Our thanks to everyone at Peperoncino for a lovely start to our wonderful evening.

2nd visit here as the food is very nice. Service was great & we thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Would go back here if we had theatre tickets.

Really pleased we found this restaurant. Perfect pre-matinee lunch, just opposite the Queen's Theatre (Les Mis) Delicious food, especially the garlic bread, and very attentive service. Will definitely eat here again.
