Patara Wimbledon Village
We had an excellent meal at Patara. It wasn’t very busy which would have been a better ambience.
Great food although they brought us dessert menus before we had received our mains. Otherwise service was friendly and good.
Good food and friendly staff, would recommend for couples and groups.
The quality of food was not as good as before. Probably the management has changed.
Excellent food that never fails to hit the spot albeit a little overpriced.
Outstanding authentic meal and excellent service, will definitely be back.
Wow. Absolutely beautiful place, staff very good. Food was absolutely amazing. Will definitely be back again
We dined here on Saturday to celebrate our son and daughter in laws birthdays. They had eaten here before and loved it. We were delighted with our menu choices, the food was excellent and portions generous. The staff were brilliant, discreet but very attentive. A happy birthday dessert was presented to the birthday couple as a very nice gesture and as a complete surprise. We will definitely eat here again and will recommend to others. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Thankyou.
Had an upset stomach and service was painfully slow - not sure if they were short staffed.. the food was ok but no better than other Thai chains...
Came here for a birthday meal with my family and thoroughly enjoyed the food, atmosphere and service.
I really like the food here and have enjoyed several visits. This time the food was as good as ever, but there was a long delay when we arrived before someone came to the front desk - we had to ask several times. When seated we were right next to the toilets and as the restaurant was full we were stuck - nothing at all offensive, but a distinct smell of bleach etc every time the door opened - and that was very often, with attendant foot traffic around the table. Unfortunately there was also a party of a dozen next to us who seemed to converse only in loud braying tones - extremely irritating!
Great food and superb service. Really enjoyed ourselves. The pricing is not cheap but for a special occasion, this was lovely. Would definitely go again.
However, it's way too expensive. I thought Thai Square was pricey, but not after £5 difference for Lamb Massiman; and that's just one example. Shame, as service is good and friendly, food is tasty. With two vegetarians and no alcohol, we managed a bill of approximately £95. Excluding service!
We had a large table to celebrate a birthday. The service was nowhere near as good as it is with a table for 4. Took over an hour to actually get some food. Having said that, the quality of food was up to the usual excellent standard.
Great food and amazing service - set menu was spot on
A bit pricey but as everything was enjoyable and it was a special occasion, I didn't mind. Next time, I will go on a weekday.
High standard of food and service
Excellent meal but quite expensive.
It was great. After initially taking a while to be seated and offered water, the whole evening was great. The food was fantastic!
Great place and delicious food
Very good food, nice relaxed atmosphere, but overpriced.
Attended for a birthday meal. Lovely staff. Food tasted great although a little expensive.
Great experience. It was our first time. The food and staff were very good.
Brilliant food - generous portions and really good service.
Will def go back!
Birthday celebration with my partner. First time at this restaurant. Suggestions made by the waitress for food and drink. All excellent choices. We had the banquet which gave a good mix of different dishes. The waitresses even sang me Happy Birthday! All in all an excellent choice.
Amazing good. Super staff, wonderful atmosphere
Too noisy amd the interior decor is very outdated. Food is okayish. The furniture esp chairs need a replacement
Style over substance. Food lacked flavour and authenticity. At approx 50 pp for three courses, I would not return.
Service was awful
Had to ask 3 times for everything!
Dishes need to be about 20% less expensive. In addition, customers next to us were far too noisy and were shrieking which kind of ruined the atmosphere. Apart from that food, staff and service were all excellent as usual. 4/5
2 of 3 mains barely lukewarm and other hardly any chicken in curry. Reheated same food and delivered back by not impressed waiter. Starters were decent but small and at £9.50 overpriced!
Excellent top end Thai Restaurant in Wimbledon Village, the mixed hors d'euves to share were very good and my grilled prawn pad thai was one of the best I have had.
3 of us were all pleased with the meal and 2 bottles of wine.
Price wise it was approximately £50 per head.
It was very special as Cheff arranged a special treat for our anniversary. As well as looking after our table and family. Excellent food and great atmosphere. Highly recommended and will visit again.
We love Patara Wimbledon. Thai food as it should be.
Fantastic service, attentive but not pushy. The food was amazing - it blew our minds!! And very generous portions. And a beautiful interior to enjoy it all in.
Good Thai food, just not used to some of the spices. Overall, we would go back, nice ambiance/restaurant
Service and food was good - limited veggie options
The food did get cold quickly at the table
Great dinner, very good food and good attentive service, nothing at fault. Great looking restaurant service fantastic Thai food. Is pricey but is worth it, looking forward to my next visit.
Not as good as usual.
Food not as ‘polished’ but good.
Scallops starter at £5.50 per scallop should be very good and usually is. It was far too hot/chilli added which was overpowering.
Maitre D was indifferent to feedback.
Generally a good ish experience because of food and generally service was ok, but not the usually very over the top levels experienced previously.
