I hadn't been to Pasta Amore in quite some time, but it was all that I remembered. It was a very busy night, but the wait staff was very efficient and friendly. Our server had a server-in-training and both were just delightful! Our food, veal parm and saltimbocca were delicious. Desserts were very good, as well.
Love Pasta Amore !!! Been going there for years but then moved away. Went back this past weekend and brought my husband for the first time. He was in gnocchi & vodka sauce heaven. Pasta amore has always been consistently amazing. When we arrived the staff was tasting some new wines they just got in & they asked us if we wanted to try them. It turned into a mini wine tasting. The staff was very attentive and fun. Great experience but then again. In all these years it’s never been a bad experience.
This has now our favorite restaurant! We had dinner Saturday night
and so enjoyed everything! My husband had chicken with artichokes
and loved every bite. I had pasta combination - the chef even made me
happy by subbing egg plant Parmesan - it was sensational. We couldn’t
have had a nicer dinner. Going back very soon.
This restaurant continues to get better with time. The food is outstanding. They even adjusted one of their menu items to be gluten and dairy free. So thankful for this restaurant in Omaha.
The service was wonderful! Lisa was very personable and fun to converse with. Our food was excellent and hot when it arrived. The only comment was the smokey taste of the bread. Not sure if it came off of the board the bread was served on but we did not care for that added flavor in the bread. Will definitely be back!
Christine our server was outstanding!! Table placement was crowded on top of another group. Moderately loud conversation from that reunion group of 8-10. Food was wonderful. Had the Tortellini with white cream sauce. A little flat and bland taste to the sauce was really enhanced by the blue cheese crumbles they brought me to try. That made the dish phenomenal. Highly recommended.
Eggplant parmigiana was excellent. Bread and ricotta was a perfect starter.
Good service. Quiet place. Meal was good but not better than other places in the area.
Very good as usual. Toasted ravioli appetizer with veal Parmesan entree.
Everything about this restaurant was top notch. Recommend meat and cheese board! very fresh! Service excellent considering the crowd!
As always, great service, great food. Was curious with new owners, but still EXCELLENT.
The ambiance was like having Italian at Grandma's house. It was cozy and amazing food. Service was wonderful and quick as well.
The restaurant was so accommodating to my gluten free needs. Great bartender and th food was delicious!!!
Very pleasant experience overall!
As usual, the food and service were EXCEPTIONAL! We really enjoyed our meal. When I ordered the fried tortellini, the server suggested a special version of it that was not on the menu. Wow!! It was incredible! Highly Suggest Pasta Amore for any occasion!
Delicious food at a reasonable price and very friendly staff! Pleasant, somewhat romantic atmosphere that's perfect for a date night!
Amazing food and our server, Frankie, was wonderful! Will go back often.
Good food, decent service. Had to ask for a few things but Steven was very prompt about our requests. Warm bread would have been a nice touch.
The food, atmosphere and service were all outstanding! I’m not normally a bread person, but their complementary bread with our meal was amazing. Looking forward to coming back soon! Thank you Pasta Amoré!
Have been a fan for many years since helping Leo out at the festivals. Wanted to try the new ownership out so we booked a reservation during non peak time for our anniversary. Took our salads/apps/drinks a long time to get there, about 35-40 minutes while walk ins that came in 25 minutes later were served theirs prior to us. No water was brought to the table nor were any specials read to us. Food quality still good, but would say B now compared to an A, but same prices. Hopefully this is them just getting settled in.
Always love the food!! They were really busy on Friday night and it took longer than usual to get our food, but the food was worth the wait.
Ravioli appetizer was salty. Food was average to just okay. Server had to be corrected a couple of times on the orders. Stated pushed the “wrong button” for the wine. What does that mean the wine comes from a “soda” type of device and not a bottle? I was pretty sure I was served the wrong wine.
Best food ever. Great service and did I mention, great food.
Outstanding food, quiet and intimate
Pasta Amore is a very nice Italian restaurant. The drinks and food were very good! I would recommend going if you need a taste of Italy while in Nebraska.
Great atmosphere, and service. Brittany was an awesome waitress, and took great care of us. The food was great as well, as were the bar selections which were made well, and didn't taste watered down as we often find. Thanks for a wonderful evening with our granddaughter. We WILL be back.
We had patio seating for 5 and enjoyed a dinner on a perfect evening. Overall, it was a great experience. Dinners included chicken and veal Parmesan, cannelloni and pasta Alfredo and gluten-free pasta Alfredo. All meals are delicious. Portions were not overly huge, but filling. Very good Italian food. We will be back.
Very personable waitress, very tasty food
Great food and atmosphere!
The new owners have done an exceptional job keeping this one of the best places in Omaha. The homemade bread and pasta were exceptional. Sat outside for the First Friday Concert at Rockbrook. We were able to hear both the music and each other. Our service was great too.
Wonderful meal! Loved the server and the food! A must go to!
Robin is amazing!
Remarkable experience! Fantastic food, amazing service! Options for indoor and outdoor dining. We LOVE Pasta Amore!
Absolute the best! Amazing service. Love the new bread and homemade mozzarella. We’re going again tonight!!! The new owners are so friendly and will continue to keep this restaurant an Omaha tradition. Love it❤️
Disappointed overall. Took 10 minutes to even be greeted at our table. Another 20 minutes to order our appetizer. Other tables, who had arrived after us, were served their entrees and finished before we ordered our meals. Ordered a special and was not impressed, I could have made a better version of this entree. Luckily we didn’t have anywhere to be afterwards, but it took 2 plus hours for our dining experience. Would not go back.
Angel was very busy but was attentive and kind. Patient with us.
Wonderful food, quiet atmosphere, and friendly service. Nice outdoor patio.
I will preface this review by saying that they were very, very busy - there was a full dining room and a private party. That being said, we were sat 25 minutes after our reservation time and it took another 20 minutes before a waitress came over. We were never given a drink menu, so we skipped drinks. The fried ravioli was good, not great, but the bread was absolutely delicious. Our entrees were fine, but definitely not the best pasta dishes we’ve ever had. I had the traditional carbonara with linguine - it was good, but had a weird after taste. I also prefer my carbonara to be made with pancetta or guanciale, this was made with bacon. My boyfriend had the tortellini in marinara and it was good. We had the lemoncello cake and a cannoli for dessert and both were great! Overall, we were there for over 2 hours and it wasn’t the best experience. I’m not sure if we’ll be back. If you do give it a try, I would maybe try a weeknight!
Food was wonderful but service was spotty. We think they were short servers for the number of customers in the restaurant and for pickup. When the server did appear she seemed to be in a big rush and on several occasions we needed to find someone else to help us. Also had problems with particulate matter in the drinking water.
We enjoyed a wonderful meal with friends. The restaurant had the feel of a small town intimate eating establishment. Will definitely go there again!
