   Parrot Key was "temporarily closed." We drove all the way out there and ended up blocked from entering the restaurant driveway. You need to coomunicate better with this restaurant

   Ok I get that restaurants are closed due to the hurricane, but as a non local it’s impossible to know what is open or not. Why is this place still on Open Table when it’s not open?

   We tried to go to Dixie Fish and Doc Fords but the wait was nearly 2 hrs. I searched on Open Table and found Parrot Key and I am so glad. It was easily as good as Doc Fords and had no wait. The service was outstanding. Mario was our server and was perfectly attentive without being overbearing. Their signature mahi dish was extremely good and their fried foods ( potato chips, fries, shrimp) were well prepared too. The only miss was the crab cakes. Recommend avoid completely

   Great atmosphere! Went for my birthday dinner and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal as well as my cocktail, macadamia crusted grouper was delicious. Other meals at the table included the special of grilled lobster tail, shrimp and scallops and the Mahi, both delicious! The Caribbean split chicken was not very good, lacked flavor and was a bit dry, wouldn’t recommend. Our waiter was just ok, not super attentive especially since the place was not full being off season. Would recommend the seafood and general vibe of the place! Can’t way to stop in for a Packer game, Go PackGo!

   Food was delicious! Unfortunately we ordered a few frozen margaritas! They were so weak it was definitely virgin margaritas. Very disappointing because it’s expensive to purchase mixed drinks. Totally bogus!!!?

    I called several times to make reservations for the Thursday entertainment show and never got a call back. So then I reserved a table for 4 on open table. Did not have a table reserved for us for the entertainment. Long drive to get there. We were just lucky it wasn’t busy, so they still could seat us. How do you make a reservation by calling them when no one returns your call.

    Ordered the Mahi with crabmeat and vegetable couscous. It was tasty and gourmet. It was very good. The restaurant did not have great ambience- very dark , puddles on the floor- needs a total uplift. Andrew our server was fabulous. 5 Stars to him.

    Booked reservations thru Open Table for lunch. Went with waiter recommendations to have the Beach Burger as my profile states my allergies to seafood and I had already told him I couldn’t have the fish tacos. I asked if they could make it chicken tacos and he said no. To my surprise the Beach Burger was a fried chicken sandwich. Shortly after, I ate I began feeling I’ll. I asked if they use separate fat to fry items and he said they only have one frier. Needless to say that is not good practice. Waiter was nonchalant about it. Began to blame me for not letting him know of my allergy. I reminded him my profile on reservation as well as the taco conversation. He could care less, didn’t even notify management. My family had to rush eating so I could get to the nearest pharmacy to obtain some Benadryl as I was starting to get a very bad reaction. The food my family had was good. The way in which my situation was handled was very poor. Be mindful of fried items if allergic to anything.

    This place has everything going for it. The decor is adorable, the servers are great and look terrific in their Hawaiian shirts, the food is delicious, and the view of the marina and water is the icing on the cake. Happy hour drinks are well priced. Their signature Mahi dish is amazing and my husband enjoyed is fried shrimp basket. We highly recommend this restaurant.

    It was so windy and miserable being sat next to opening to the dock when it was getting ready to storm. It was visibly uncomfortable as my hair kept flying in my face and mouth while trying to eat. I had asked if we could do something about it and no one ever came to close the opening or move us. Insanely mediocre food. Nachos tasted and looked like they had been popped in the microwave. Seafood was okay at best.
