Every meal at Pappa Roma is prepared lovingly by our chefs and with the authentic spirit of Italy. Our dishes are guaranteed to awaken even the sleepiest of taste buds.

The pizzas at Pappa Roma are made from traditional Italian dough that is made fresh each day. It is hand-stretched and cooked on the stone of our wood burning oven.

We also bake all our own bread on the premises, from traditional Foccacia and Ciabatta to bespoke olive and herb breads.

Our sauces are made from only the finest vine-ripened tomatoes and topped with select cheeses, choice meats and the freshest vegetables, herbs and spices available to our chefs.

All our dishes are prepared with the finest natural ingredients and cooked in the traditional Italian way.

We were a party of 7 with children and as soon as we sat down colouring books and pens arrived. Food arrived quite quickly and great pizza's and manageable children's sized options and small but ok soft drinks range. It was well priced for tourist central and friendly staff and child friendly. Will go again when doing a visit to the museums.

I ate dinner with a friend at Pappa Roma on a Saturday evening. We ordered a quattro stagioni pizza and a seafood pasta. Both were tasty, and the portions were generous. The prices were very affordable too. The staff member who seated us at first was somewhat detached, but during the meal the staff were helpful and responded to our requests quickly. However, we found the atmosphere very poor. We were seated in a downstairs area that had a huge screen showing a football match. It was noisy and distracting, although to their credit the staff turned the sound to a lower setting when I asked. Later on, the staff put on some radio music which was loud and offputting (especially during the commercials); again, they did turn it to a quieter setting when I asked, but it was still distracting.

Found this on the internet the night before we travelled. Booked a table and it was ready and waiting when we arrived . We were greeted with a smile and service was excellent. The main course came out just before we had finished starter but it made no difference. Food was hot when it arrived and the whole experience was good. Its a pity we don't live closer as I would use it more often. Made a change from the national chains.

Good pre-Prom dining option offering good value (for central London) and good quality Italian food. Friendly waiting staff and a really fabulous chocolate souffle.

Going on a first date is always a nerve racking experience but Papa Roma, had a nice feel to it, the food was amazing and the price was good value. Both me and my date had a wonderful evening

We made a quick visit to Pappa Roma between early and late Proms. Service was very friendly and quick. The tagliata was not available so we both had the stuffed chicken which was fine. Reasonable value and quite lively on a Saturday night. Worth a try if in the area, we'll go back.

Visited Pappa Roma before going on to a Prom concert. Service was good and menu choice extensive. Has the feel of a genuine Italian restaurant, intimate and friendly. Would certainly go there again if we were in the area.

Delicious, fresh food in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. The wine I tried was light, refreshing and if great value. Child-friendly - the waiters were lovely to my daughter and even provided colouring books and crayons.

We had a fabulous meal here, with 2 adults and 2 children enjoying pizzas and lasagna with great service, lively atmosphere and delicious food. Well priced, good choice and not at all pretentious. A lovely restaurant, and a great find! We will definitely be back!
