   Spectacular Mother's Day brunch of smoked trout eggs Benedict and creme brulee French toast! Glad to hear brunch will be on the menu every Saturday and Sunday. Usual excellent, warm service, even though the lounge, dining room, and patio were all full. Chef Angel Franco gets better and better. Great atmosphere.

   We sat in the bar and enjoyed a delicious meal with friends! Sommelier was helpful in choosing a bottle of wine. Service was a little slower than we would’ve liked, but overall, a great evening.

   Palace is our favorite! We always enjoy the meals and appreciate the pace of the menu updates. Kristina has elevated the overall experience since taking over their wine catalog. Aside from her impeccable offerings and pairings she is truly a joy to see and chat with each time we have the chance to dine at Palace!

   This was our second visit to Palace. The first was perfectly delightful in every way. For that reason, we chose to celebrate a friend’s significant birthday. What a disappointment! Our server was excellent but overstretched due to poor staffing. The food runner was poorly trained, the food was reasonably good but nothing like the excellence we encountered before, the courses were delivered haphazardly, and the wait too long.

As we prepare for a busy summer, some of our team members are new and still learning. While we provide extensive training, we occasionally fall short, and we apologize for that.    Great service. Wonderful waiter. Food marvelous. A really great experience. Kind of like being in a fancy LA restaurant which is good. We had oysters which were spectacular. We had macaroni and cheese delightful. The rolls are out of this world. The hamburger is the best I’ve ever had and the merguiz pasta was out of this world. Absolutely recommend the palace.

   We had a large group, and we were so grateful Palace could accommodate us on their patio out back. It was a lovely setting with really good food and wine and exceptional service. All members of our large party raved about their food and the experience overall. Thank you!

    Had an excellent dinner with solid cocktails at Palace! The restaurant layout is very relaxed, lots of room between tables, especially the large circular booths. Makes for a wonderful private dinner. The service was very good, the sommelier especially. The food seemed obvious on the menu, but the flavors were interesting and delicious in a very good way! The portions are small, so if you are looking for a lot of food try the restaurant at La Fonda where the experience isn't nearly as good.
