Located one block from the plaza and one block from the Lensic Theater. We are a Santa Fe tradition reborn, serving prime steaks, fresh seasonal seafood, and handmade pasta with local ingredients. Paired with premium wines and seasonally curated craft cocktails to enjoy in a historic and elegant setting. We have a private dining room for groups of up to 14. Our tree-covered back patio and fully covered front patio are open in the warm months when weather permits. You can also dine inside our chic bar/lounge or dining room with plush booth seating.

    This was our first time dining at Palace Prime and it was a wonderful experience. The shrimp cocktail, dinner rolls, pasta, meat, and fish entrees all excellent. Dessert especially good, the chess pie and espresso crème brûlée both a cut above. The cocktails also amazing, esp. the Def Jam. Service was perfect.

    It is always spectacular at Palace Prime. It is our regular choice for dining out. Customer service is top notch and just super friendly, knowledgeable staff. Signature cocktails are in their own class. Extensive curated drink list. And the food is seriously the finest. Each dish is the meal you didn’t realize you needed in that moment. The menu reads like a bucket list you feel you want to work through. And just as on par is the ambiance. We generally sit in the bar lounge. Great cozy vibe and just the right energy level. The dining room is beautiful and provides a more fine dining experience but is equally appealing and enjoyable. The design in both areas is very vibe-forward. It’s just what you’re looking for.

    Drove here from Albuquerque last night for my husband’s birthday dinner. For a $300+ dinner it was mediocre and bizarre at best. Both our steaks were cooked incorrectly as they somehow reversed the temperature we ordered, I will say the sides were very good and I liked my soup. At one point, possibly a manager walked by us, then back tracked a little to ask how our meal was. It seemed like he was in a rush/just passing by, not really in a place where we could tell him our steaks were wrong. Dessert was also decent, but there was nothing special even though I told them it was my birthday. In our experience, a place like this would usually mention the birthday or gift a dessert. The wait staff experience was very bizarre. We were seated for 15 mins or so to even get water then another 10 for a drink. THE WATER PERSON. It was as if it was her life’s mission to keep our water glassed 90% full. Soon as we’d take a sip, she was there to refill it, it was too much and we couldn’t have a conversation. They were also playing a strange assortment of music which was far too loud and our table was by the door so it was cold. Overall, a disappointing 2 star experience, I gave 3 to food because the sides were good.

    My Son and I are frequent guests at Palace Prime. We have always enjoyed dining here and they treat us like family! However, this last time on October 26th….it was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had since I can remember!!! IT WAS PHENOMENAL!!!!! Love all the talented staff here and the genuine friendliness they show my son and I every time we dine here. They ALWAYS make us feel special. We always know we are gonna have delicious unique cocktails and outstanding food with spectacular service! Thank you guys…can’t wait for the next experience! See you soon ❤️

    Second time getting the Lemon ravioli!!! It’s too good to even be tempted to try something else. Shared a wedge salad w my husband and it was superb. Right now, Palace Prime is my favorite restaurant in Santa Fe.

    An $85 steak should be tender tasty and not tough and chewy and uneatable. took 1 hrs to get food so we were late to the Lensic. no prime rib so why call it Palace Prime?

    Rob, I am generally on the guest's side, but not in this case. Your group should have informed us that you had time constraints. We are not mind readers. A reservation notice states you must tell us if you are going to a show. Your entire meal from start to finish was two hours; we are not McDonald's; they are off Cerrillos. All of our beef is 100% Prime. A rib-eye steak can be a prime rib if it's roasted as a whole primal, but that is not what we do. The menu has always been online for review before dining with us. We wish you the best as you navigate your next dining experience.

    The service was friendly and excellent. Macalvoi was very good and when he was busy the Manager was quick to step in and deliver a drink or the desert. My wife had the lobster pasta which was excellent. The fish in the fish and chips was a tad overdone. Lots and lots of fries -- i might reduce the fries and throw in some cole slaw. We had the carrot cake for desert which was excellent.

    We had a group of 4. Ordered the Tomahawk Steak to share along with 4 sides. PERFECT for 4 people and the best steak value hands down. The Berry “Cobbler” is more like a pie with the best crust EVER and is HUGE. Three of us shared it. Only thing we weren’t fans of was the green onion mixed in the butter they bring out with the bread…just no.

    This restaurant is really overpriced and overrated. We were really disappointed. The service was excellent, however the food was less than average, especially considering the prices. Also- cocktails we tried were average as well.

    I booked Palace Prime for my hubby’s birthday. It was our first time to the restaurant and oh my goodness, we have been missing out. Everything from the food to the ambiance to the music was perfect. Our waitress was so friendly and recommended great wines. They even started us with 2 glasses of delicious bubbly to celebrate my hubby’s birthday. The steaks were cooked to perfection. I think these are the best in the city. I definitely can’t recreate the aging and crust at home.

    We had been wanting to try Palace Prime since it reopened a few years ago. The service and food were outstanding. All three of us had different entrées (chicken, Seabass, & pork chop). All were wonderfully executed, presented and scrumptious. We shared a brussels sprout side for the table which couldn’t be beat. We topped it off sharing the three berry cobbler. The crust was exceptional and completed our entire dinner extremely satisfied. We chatted with the manager Charles who could not have been more friendly and welcoming. For sure we will return again very soon. On another note, it was almost 11pm when we left which is such a rarity to find a restaurant Santa Fe that serves into the evening hours.

    The maître de created a custom vegetarian platter for me. A lovely jazz band was playing on the back patio at an enjoyable volume (not too loud). The back patio is a wonderful outdoor seating area with plenty of shade.
