   Definitely had to send steak back and sides sides and add ons were forgotten. $65 for a 6 oz steak seems way to high.

   The Butchers Martini - made with their horseradish infused vodka is unbelievable. I can’t get enough. As a matter of fact all of the drinks on their incredible menu make you feel this way. The problem I have every time is ..which will I choose. (Good problems!) We sat at the bar and enjoyed their Sunday night vinyl night which is a treat. The last album we heard was David Bowie. Food wise- everything is a can’t miss- especially for foodies. The quality is top notch. We were able to get there in time for happy hour and tried their green Chile chicken wings for the first time… as expected and to no surprise.. they nailed it: Delicious flavor and crispy perfection. We always love the burger which we enjoy medium rare (on the rare side) and the bread is just like a butter cloud of crunch. But everything is pure pleasure- the ribs, oysters, (when they have prime rib)!! The service is always wonderful too! We have sat in their main dining area when they had a jazz night- and that too was special. Marvelous music and energy. A beautiful space, quality food, drinks and service. Hard to choose to go anywhere else when this hits the spot, every ..single ..time. Thank you

   We had an excellent meal and drinks, as well as service. One of our favorites in Santa Fe. The only down fall is the closeness of tables as you can hear other’s conversations.

   What a wonderful treat to have a new experience in an "old" space that holds many memories for us. On a last minute whim we booked a table for dinner before a concert at the Lensic. WOW! Food was superb, service was flawless, tables were safely spaced, but the most impressive thing was that in a city where fine dining often includes unbearable noise this gem was perfect for intimate conversation. Such a treat. And our bill was much less than comparable establishments. This will become one of our go-to places for a particularly special evening out.

    I have been anxious to try Palace Prime since it opened and I was not disappointed. The salad was super fresh and the salad dressing was amazing. My friend and I laughed at the portions for Restaurant Week, but we were so stuffed after dinner I didn't even finish my dessert. The Filet Mignon was perfectly seasoned and so tender you could cut it with a butter knife. I was not disappointed.

    We sat in the lounge which had wonderful ambience. Our meal was outstanding. We visited for restaurant week and ordered the filet mignon. Both steaks were delicious, tender and cooked to perfection. I would definitely recommend Palace Prime.

    Delightful experience. Wait staff were attentive but not obtrusive. They just seemed to appear when I wanted them. The food was marvelous, I loved the steak and the tiny carrots were great. I’ll be back.

    We went for Restaurant Week and treated ourselves to a beautiful and delicious dining experience at Palace Prime. The service was old school outstanding and the food and cocktails were terrific with a lovely presentation. We had been looking forward to our dinner there and it exceeded our expectations.     Excellent food, wait staff was great $30 for a burger and fries???? maybe a little pricey, I think you could get many more customers with a little more reasonable prices and a bar menu

    Very enjoyable. The original Palace had been a go to place many years ago and neither of us had been back since its many incarnations. We had a really nice time, loved our server Tess, my ribs were to die for, all the food was very good. Restaurant Week is meant to entice people and it certainly did. We’ll be back!

    Absolutely delicious! We went there during restaurant week and had a wonderful meal. I ordered the filet which was cooked perfectly, and absolutely delicious. I started with the shrimp cocktail, which was also superb. My husband ordered the burger which was one of the best he’s had in a very long time. The meat was from beck and bülow. It was absolutely delicious. He started with the ribs and loved them as well. We will definitely be going back.

    We loved our experience at Palace Prime as always. This was the first time we ate in the dining room with our guests, and it was very nice. We had a lovely corner booth, and Sondra took very good care of us in all aspects of our evening. I enjoyed the filet mignon as usual and it was perfectly done to my taste. Two of the four of us really enjoyed the expresso martini for dessert. We highly recommend Palace Prime.

    So looked forward to this reopened dining experience. Very disappointed as was my companion. Understanding the economic times, the expense seemed out if line aspecially for dining in the lounge/bar area. We did not request that area. There is a more spacious dining. A large group was seated next to us crowding the area. Make sure you specify the area when reserving. No complaints about service or food quality and delivery. Decent ambience. I'd recommend but with caution due to pricing and seating.

    This was the prix fixe Valentine's Day dinner and it was done exquisitely! Food, service, and ambience couldn't have been better. A friend I told that I was coming said to bring my "biggest credit card" and they weren't far off the mark. Nonetheless, extremely good.

    Everything went wrong. They tried to insist our entrees were correct when they clearly weren’t. I’ve never been to a restaurant where the staff didn’t know what their own entrees looked like. Finally we asked to see the menu and the server read it and realized it was wrong. They poured the wrong wine into my friend’s existing wine so she had to drink a mix. They took my plate and said they were closing without asking me if i was finished or wanted it wrapped up. I had barely eaten it. Then they didn’t even offer any comp for apologies for almost sending my friend to hospital by giving her the wrong entree that she was deathly allergic too. It was a bizarre experience. Super overpriced for such terrible experiences. Ambiance was great and i would go for drinks but not dinner.

    The duck breast I ordered was just flat out bad. It wasn't the preparation. The duck itself tasted off, like it was way past its sell-by date.

We also served the same items to other guests that night, and they all loved the dish. You were not charged for the duck, and we offered to get you something else on the house, which you declined.     A special dinner for a friend, that was just ok. Steaks were average, sides were well below par. Wines and cocktails were very good and reasonably priced and the staff was helpful and friendly. Being from a cattle raising family, I was surprised to see the meat was sourced out of NYC !

We source our beef from Pat La Frieda, a butcher out of NYC. The meat is raised all over the country, and La Frieda Meats can get some of the best products in the country; that is why we use them. We do hope to see you back at Palace Prime again.

    Great quality on the steaks. The NY was a bit dry even though it was cooked to medium rare. Very tender and good texture. Light on the seasoning. However the sauce wasn’t of the same caliber. Too much mustard seed. Very little pepper. Such a nice steak would be better off with a decent amount of salt, pepper and not much else. The six gnocchi were blah. The Demi glaze on the ribeye was unpleasant, tasted like it came off the grocery store shelf. All in all the meal fell short of the mark that the price had set.

    Our first time there and we were quite impressed. Starters of French Onion Soup and 1/2 dozen oysters were very good. Duck breast was amazing - never seen one so large and tender. New York Strip Steak had us asking 'where do they get their meat' (somewhere in New Jersey) - very tender and tasty. Dessert of pecan pie was excellent also - served warm which was great with the whipped cream topping. They have an extensive wine list. We were there to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary and the staff made it a very special occasion. We were served glasses of prosecco when we arrived and the dessert was intentionally omitted from our bill.
