Overall, I enjoyed the food, live music, and relaxed vibe. Prices were fair, and trying the crab cheesecake and local beer was a nice touch.

One of the worst meals I've had in a while. I couldn't eat most of it. I'm not sure how the rating is so high. Don't go here.

Gumbo for Louisiana was not good ! It was Hot. Portion size was minimal. Pasta was chewy. But our waitress was pleasant. Left our plates half full.

Amazing band and staff. Our cheese crab cake was burnt and our eggs Benedict was hard boiled so the yoke came out as a ball. The recipe was great and so was the flavor but the love was not in the cooking

It was a very disappointing experience. I returned to Palace Cafe after a few years and the quality of the food and the quality of the service was terrible. So sad to see it deteriorate so quickly.

It was our anniversary dinner and everything was outstanding. We ordered the steak, very tender and flavorful, with tender asparagus and potatoes. Loved our appetizers, the roasted beet salad and a romaine salad with garlic anchovy dressing, and the charcuterie board was a hit. Topped it off with bananas foster prepared table side. Food and service all excellent. Our reservation was for 6:00 on a Thursday evening and the restaurant was quiet. By the time we left there were more people and it was getting loud. Just go early if you want a more quiet atmosphere. Prices are reasonable and worth every cent.

I was a bit disappointed with the dinner. I raved about the crabmeat cheesecake to my colleague and we each ordered one. It was over done and visible burnt. The crust was actually black. The entree was wonderful. The bread pudding was cold and tasted like custard. The service was excellent through the entree and after that the service went south. After the table was cleared we waited about 20 minutes and finally waived the waiter over. We ordered dessert and I asked for the check at that time. The waiter never came back to the table to pick up my credit card. After about another 25 minutes I finally had to stand up and visually get her way to have her pick up the check. Not what I expect from a Brennan's restaurant.

Impeccable food. The andouille crusted gulf fish was to die for. We also had Turtle Soup, fried Green Tomatoes and a crème Brûlée. The duck and chicken were just as fabulous as the fish. We would recommend this to anyone. Service was great!

My first terrible meal at Palace Cafe in 35 years. Crawfish cheesecake dry French Onion soup- VERY SALTY Was not offered soup spoon for French onion soup Had to ask for bread. No bread plate Crab meat pasta was full of shells...sent back..taken off bill. Took 3 different bananas foster tables to finally work. Banana lacquer bottle was empty... Im being generous giving this experience a 2 out of 5!
