A palace café signature dish! pecan crust, mushroom sauté, creole meunière
A Palace Café favorite! fresh bananas sautéed in brown sugar and cinnamon, flambéed with banana liqueur and rum, vanilla bean ice cream
Just outstanding! The food the waiter, complimentary parking and the Mothers Day atmosphere!
Brought a friend! He had never been ! It’s now OUR favorite place! Awesome food & service was great!
The food was great and so was the atmospheres.
We had Mother’s Day Weekend brunch here and everything was fantastic. Check in was easy, the staff was extremely friendly and polite. The food came very quickly after ordering and everything was delicious !
Gumbo YAYA was great! Limited menu, fish entree came with no sides, not up to usual quality.
Great food, drinks, attentive service. Recommendation from a local!
Very good. Enjoyed the duck very flavorable
The Palace has come through to the other side of Covid with the same great food and service.
The food, drinks, and staff were all excellent. The location makes it easy to access if you are needing a quick lunch spot while attending a conference at one of the hotel chains on Canal Street.
Amazing! Great experience. Food was perfect and the service was great!
The tableside bananas foster 💯
The service was not great. It took a long time to get our drink orders. Also my food did not come out correctly.
We only got drinks and appetizers, but it was absolutely delicious and everything we expected. The oysters with the oyster loaf were perfectly crispy, quite possibly the best I’ve had. The crab meat cheesecake was delicious, better than I could have imagined.
Highly recommend breakfast and dinner is probably even better!
Anniversary and they made it special.
It has been a while since we had last visited. Waitstaff was exceptional as usual. Food was great. I loved the crabmeat cheesecake. Main dishes were on point. My wife got Bananas Foster, and it was excellent as usual. My only disappointment was the White Chocolate Bread Pudding wasn't as good on this night as I remembered it. Other than that, no complaints whatsoever. I would highly recommend.
Pleasant friendly great food and drinks
Beautiful dining room, great service, great food...save room for dessert!
Great service and food. Always a favorite place to dine.
We had the Cafe Benedict and Chicken and Waffles at lunch. Both dishes were very unique and very delicious. Topped it off with THE ORIGINAL Bananas Foster prepared table side.
It was great seeing this restaurant open after the COVID pandemic shut down. It seems that this location is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, and has reduced hours of operations. The food and service was excellent. They have the best gumbo.
Wonderful as alwsys
One the better options for quality food in the French Quarter
I can always depend on a great meal !
The food and service were top notch. It will be one of our regular restaurants on every trip to New Orleans.
Food was outstanding as was our experience getting seated. Waiter was very courteous and considerate, had a few too many tables to serve, forgot to bring coffee. Definitely enjoyed the meal and time there, plan to return. VERY NOISY, hard to hear table conversation.
Awesome ambiance and music, service and food were impeccable!!! A definite must if you are in New Orleans!!!!
First visit and everything was superb! Great service and foos. Will be back foe dinner on my next trip.
Service was great and food was delicious!
Great food and service.
Food was very good and portions were right for the price.
Great service. Food superior
Always wonderful. Can’t wait until we can have Jazz Brunch again...Green Goddess salad and gumbo ya-ya were good starters. Great catfish and eggs Benedict. Always have to have the Bananas Foster! This one was perfectly prepared. Kudos to the servers.
comparing to our previous times at the Palace Cafe, this experience was horrendus.
could not get a reservation at the rum bar so you lost revenues there. i know it is partly due to Covid, but you are totally understaffed in the kitchen and outside. food quality is not what it used to be and service just ok. we have been to your restaurant every time we come to NO. not anymore. am from Mobile and come over quite often as our getaway place. not anymore. your mayor's lockdown needs to open up as we have in Mobile.
as i side note, visited Mr. B's for lunch and found no change in service or in food quality as in the past. they kept same employees. it was excellent. so was GW Fins. i am a cpa and have 1000 clients and if asked how my trip was will tell them not to visit NO for a while.
I was Surprised by The interior. It looks like a storefront but is really nice inside. Prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity. Service fast, efficient and professional.
Wonderful food, terrific service and great atmosphere. We found this place by accident and didn't realize it was part of the Brennan's family of restaurants. Bananas Foster was a must! A bit pricey even by NOLA standards, but outstanding experience.
Loved the atmosphere and the service is superb. Try the Werlein salad and the filet! Loved the Bananas Foster for dessert!
We ate here on the first evening of our trip to New Orleans. The crab meat cheesecake is the best!
One thing to note is that it has more of a big, open, high-volume feel rather than 'cozy' intimate/romantic feeling, so it just depends on what you're in the mood for in terms of ambiance, but the food is good if that's the focus!
Lunch reservation - took a while for the waiter to get our drinks because the bar was backed up but other than that we had good service and yummy pulled pork Benedict
Fabulous experience from the host in the front to the great waiter at our table to the unbelievable food. We had the best dining experience of our vacation. Thanks to all of you🍸
