   Delicious food, welcoming ambience and service. Only drawback VAT on top of surcharge - that's a bit steep. But faultless food - delicious!

   Lovely little spot in crouch end staff are superb. Food is fresh and tasty. Only minor criticism is be nice if the seating could be more a little more comfortable

   The food was average. The Anchovies & Parmesan Croquettes are for someone who doesn't like anchovies, in fact the tomato sauce was the biggest flavour. The Gnocchi is novel in style, but it doesn't deliver in texture or flavour. Pork Saltimbocca was the biggest disappointment, it was overcooked and also lacked in flavour. Swordfish linguine contained very small pieces of swordfish and again was bland. Overall, if you want bland food pretending to be Italian you've found the right place. Disappointing.

   Good food. Slight issues with the service ( wrong portion sizes) but overall very pleasant

   Having ordered we awaited for an hour and fifteen minutes for our starter. At that point we asked where it could be. The waiter disappeared and then ten or so minutes later arrived with our mains. After he put them down we pointed out we hadn't had our starters at which point he disappeared and returned to say they weren't ready (I am no culinary expert but one and a half hours for beef carpaccio seems a little long). We said that we would eat what we had as by then we were starving and they could forget the starters. After eating the pasta (whcih was very good) we asked for the desert menu. Eventually when this didn't arrive we asked for the bill. The bill contained someone else's starters and cocktails which we had to ask to be removed. Two hours later, as we left still hungry, it is fair to say we regretted our booking.

   The food and the staff are great but the portions are far too small and the prices are too high therefore there isn't value for money. It's a pity as if it wasn't so expensive and with ridiculously small plates I would go back.

   A lovely relaxed restaurant with food which is perfect for sharing. Good quality food and wine which is very social and relaxed. Perfect for a group.

   Harried staff did there best but were clumsy and our food came very late. It became very crowded all of a sudden and the tables are so close together that it was impossible for the service to function without disrupting everyone. Conversations all overlapped and one server trampled on my clothing with wet shoes to get to a door that needed to be opened in our backs to allow for ventilation. Probably best to go on a week night when staff can relax and serve the sensitive dishes with the care they would like.

    Great place! Very friendly, competent and helpful staff, very tasty authentic Italian dishes, and nice wines. Definitely going back!
