Everything was okay overall. The drinks were the best part about the whole thing, at the end the waitress just charged us all weirdly and gave everyone the wrong amount but it was resolved fairly quickly for the most part. The food was pretty good, you get large portions so highly recommend sharing.

Hostess was super friendly and accommodating. Atmosphere is beach boutique vibe. Very cute! There were only 3 tables full when we arrived but it took 20 minutes to get our (3) drinks. Second round of drinks took 30 minutes! Our waitress was friendly and helpful. Food took a long time to get also and my friends salmon was still raw in the middle when it arrived. Not an overall good first visit for us.

Avaocado toast had too much fluffy avocado and made bread soggy. I prefer a firm toast bread to hold nice sliced avocado on top. Poke bowl was yummy !

We had a lovely girls night and loved the space. It has outdoor or inside seating with heater lamps. The cocktails were really good and they had a nice wine list. The service and the manager was very good. We had the brussels sprouts as an appetizer and they were delish. Crispy and seasoned well. We did order the scallops and the short bread sandwich. Both tasted great, yet needed to be warmer. We would come back again and if it happened again we would let them know.

This place is always a pleasant surprise. It’s hard to find good food downtown Huntington and pacific hideaway has a unique menu, upscale yet laid back and their food has lots of flavor. I was definitely recommended and definitely go back.

I hesitated writing a review for this little gem of a cafe because for a few years now I've been able to get reservations, no problem, even on holidays. But a good dining experience with great food and service deserves kudos. The food at Pacific Hideaway is always top-notch, unique and beautifully prepared. Just yesterday, I had some of the best salmon over a bed of Canjun rice, asparagus and other deliciousness; it tasted as good as a fine dining restaurant. Plus, the service has always been friendly (even on holidays), attentive, timely and helpful. During my five or so times there, the service staff went above and beyond, and always at least one visit from the Manager just to check on us. The cafe is small and while the seating is not the most comfortable, the vibe is chill and one a good day (which are many in Huntington Beach), the walls to one side open up to let the sea air inside. A+ Highly recommended for a casual setting with outstanding food and service.

We had Easter breakfast. Cast iron cinnamon rolls, pancakes with strawberries, bananas and hazelnuts 😋. The hash Benny's. Everything was delicious and our server was amazing. We will definitely be back, and recommend to friends. Thanks to you all at Pacific Hideaway!

We came for date night on a Saturday evening, it was fairly busy and the vibe was awesome! They offer both indoor and outdoor (with heaters) seating, I'd recommend reservations but it's probably not required. The drinks were great, our server was attentive, friendly and helpful with menu recommendations. The baked Alaska was AMAZING.....I was still thinking about its deliciousness the next day. This place loves locals and we appreciate it, will definitely be back. 🏄‍♀️🏄‍♂️⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great vibe in the hotel. Quintessential California decor. Service was good, but there was one person manning the entire restaurant so food/drinks were slow to come out. He was a great server but too much on his hands. Food was solid. Some of the things on their online menu and yelp were no longer on the menu. They should update that.

Went for birthday brunch and loved it. Our second time here and we noticed that next time we could bring our pup for a meal or join for happy hour or yoga?! Also got a locals discount. Love the beachy vibe in here and can’t wait to come in the summer and sit on the patio. Waitress was very nice and service is super fast! Eggs Benedict hash, chiliquilies, latte, tea and açaí bowl are all delicious!

We stayed at the hotel where this restaurant is. We had breakfast here. The food was really good. Fresh and delicious and not standard diner food. However, I think we sat at our table waiting for someone to take our drink order for close to 20 minutes. They were not busy and had 2 or 3 wait staff plus a bartender with no one at the bar. The one waitress who sat us noticed we were there for awhile and just kept walking by us without even acknowledging our status. Like saying "Sorry we are a bit short staffed but someone will be over momentarily". Anyway our waiter was very pleasant when he finally arrived but never even came around to ask how our meal was. Not sure I should have expected more from an in house restaurant experience but it is a shame because the place is cute and has potential for a better vibe.

This is our second time to this quaint little restaurant in the Shorebreak Hotel. The service was excellent, especially given that it was Christmas Day. Our waiter was super friendly and a very attentive server. Food is outstanding! On a beautiful day (which are plentiful in Huntington Beach) the restaurant opens up to a patio that overlooks PCH and the ocean. Plus, the hotel and restaurant is dog-friendly which I like. For a tasty, upscale meal in a pleasant environment, I recommend this little Hideaway.
