Birthday party - great time!
Great experience. Love this place. Food was amazing
Generally very solid as usual, grilled calamari dish is perfect as starter.
Love this place! Food is so good . Manger Alex is a helpful and nice
After trying another spot for brunch we ended up here by chance ...and boy were we pleased. Great pianist, excellent and knowledgeable waitstaff and food that will make your taste buds dance! We will be back for sure
My boyfriend Franco and I decided on an impromptu brunch date and Ouisie’s table did not disappoint!!!! Elegant and sophisticated along with impeccable service!!!! One of my all time favorite restaurants in Houston. We will definitely be back! ❤️
The food is exquisite. The service is impeccable 👌
Loved this place. Had a reservation and still waited for a table. The appetizers came quickly and then the entree was delayed a considerable time. I had the special, a shrimp pasta, it was terrible. No flavor. Poor presentation. It’s not the place it used to be. It’s a shame.
Loved brunch! I plan to go again and again. I highly recommend...
Wonderful! As always.
Great service and very enjoyable meal. Wine list was good. Very enjoyable evening
Had a great time! All our entrees and drinks were excellent! Steak cooked to perfection and seafood crepes were amazing. Service was friendly and attentive. It was also the little things that made our evening so enjoyable - candle and rose on the table and beautiful birthday dessert plate! Thank you for making my birthday so memorable!
Excellent setting, food and service! Waitstaff is outstanding and we loved
the fireplace on a cold day.
Service was wonderful! Food was excellent!
I really enjoy the service was excellent, they make us comfortable and they were very patience.
Service is excellent here and one reason I return often. The food is always fresh and good. Quiet restaurant so conversation is easy.
lovely!! ate outside with perfect weather and had some oysters and the seafood crepes with my boyfriend and a friend
Beautiful atmosphere great food and service.
We went on Sunday brunch. Very nice ambience and food was fantastic!! Service is reasonably prompt and attentive. We will definitely go back.
With exception of the gumbo, our food did not have any flavor. It was presented well, but not much flavor. Oysters were too peppery. Short ribs were tough. Trout had no flavor. Gravy for chicken fried steak was extremely acidic. Kids macaroni had no flavor. Service was okay, had to ask for water twice. And our son choked on an oyster and took the waiter 20 minutes to take the napkin. Very disappointed because this has always been a consistent restaurant. Will not return.
A little bit too crowded for comfort
We enjoy ourselves very much every time we come. I try a new dish each time. So far all have been excellent. We enjoyed the raspberry mimosas this time. Server was very attentive.
Looking forward to next visit.
Happy New Year. IRENE
New Years Eve
Food was delicious! Tables spaced very far apart. Nicely decorated. Great evening. No one rushed us. Stayed 3 hours.
Wonderful food and great service. Enjoyed the experience very much. Will be back again.
Ouisie's always captures Southern charm with great food and service.
We visit every year for our anniversary as a bit of a holiday tradition. It's always a great experience, great service, great food, and a nice balance of holiday ambiance. Would recommend, and will be back. :)
Lovely and comfortable outdoor space! A great place to dine in COVID-19 times. Great fried oysters and Stilton salad
Had the seafood crepes and dry scallops w/prawns and were disappointed vs previous experiences. Oysters very good, crab cakes just ok but also not as good as previously.
the highlights at Ousies are the staff, management, the piano player and the FRIED CHICKEN! I really enjoyed this date/ meal and really felt like we had great attention during our visit. Would definitely return.
We went to Ousies for Christmas Eve dinner as is our annual tradition and sadly all 3 of our entrées came out under cooked and had to be sent back. Of course they were cooked longer, re-plated and better the send time around but over all underwhelming. My sons Lamb was also very fatty and it is truly unacceptable for chicken thighs to come out so under done. Our table was poorly located in front of the service entrance to the kitchen which would have only been a distraction if the food was excellent. The waiter did of course apologies but no other effort was made to acknowledge that magnitude of making mistakes on all three of our orders on Christmas Eve. The management had plenty of opportunity to say something due to the proximity of our table to the service entrance where they congregated but did not feel it was significant enough to make the effort.
In the end it was very underwhelming

Family Christmas.
Everyone was very attentive and the food was excellent! I would have preferred a quiet spot since it was our 20th anniversary. A more intimate and quiet spot would have been ideal. A large family was seated right next to us after 10 minutes. The family did apologize for the noise though. Overall, excellent service and food!
We have been here several times and really enjoy it each time. It is both elegant and casual at the same time and people actually dress both very casually (much more than I thought they would) and more business casual with men wearing jackets.
The staff was very helpful and efficient. They kept all conversation to a minimum, which was fine. A manager even came by to check on things.
They have a good specialty cocktail menu and the drinks were good. My wife got the lobster bisque soup for an appetizer and really enjoyed that.
I got the special Swordfish steak and it was very good. My wife got the trout with a pecan crust and it was also wonderful.
The wine menu is also pretty extensive and the waiter helped a lot in the selection to pair with the meal.
The desert was great. I had the chocolate mouse cheesecake that was fantastic... very moist and flavorful.
One other comment is that there was one table that was a little too close to us for Covid standards.
I also love their patio area... very quiet and secluded with lots of beautiful plants and lights.
The food is also very reasonably priced.
We love this place and will be back.
We always dine at Ouisie's Table when we are in Houston. I highly recommend dining there!
I love Ouisie’s. We sat outside on a lovely day. Our server was superb as was the trout and sides. A perfect place for a quiet visit with friends. My go-to lunch spot.
Wonderful, as always!!
Wonderful as always
Thnx once again for a great experience. You have awsome staff
Hadn't been for a few years but definitely won't leave it so long going forward ... great food, wine, service and atmosphere: can't ask for more!
Wonderful restaurant in the heart of River Oaks - beautifully decorated for the holidays. They have kept many of Elouise's favorite dishes on the menu.
