Welcome to Otto’s French Restaurant, London, the world’s only restaurant to have both a duck and a lobster press; the essential solid-silver contraptions from which the most extravagant dishes ever created are made; ‘La Grande Bouffe’.
Step back into the old-world glamour of sumptuous, traditional French cuisine with tableside service at the heart of what we do.
We serve impeccable, classic French cuisine which has been hailed by critics as the best one can find in London.
Not only do we serve the pressed duck and lobster tableside, but at our restaurant, you can also enjoy a traditional poularde de Bresse ‘Demi-Deuil’ with truffles and morels
We do do not turn tables; you have your seat for the entirety of lunch or dinner service.

One of the absolute best dinners we have ever had. The staff was wonderful and the meal and preparation were extra extraordinary.

This is a fantastic restaurant that is food obsessed. Every fish was wonderful with fantastic flavours and huge attention to detail. Snails, foie Gras and Scallops for starters were all excellent as was the beef, pigeon and pie for the mains. Wine selection was great with a price to suit al. Service was attentive and fun. Couldn’t fault the place.

Otto's is probably the best French restaurant outside of France itself. The service is fantastic, low-key, and attentive. The foie gras is literally to die for. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the escargot. The epic part of the meal is the Bresse chicken for two with the more mushroom sauce. The breast is served as one main, and the leg meat is served as a second main, ensconced in a puff pastry with foie gras on top. Oh my. Otto's will definitely be a part of every visit to London moving forward!

Exceptional upscale classic French restaurant that really cares about its food & service. Whilst pricey, it is a special experience. Superb wine list too. A memorable meal and even Otto himself is visible & involved in service. A treat!

Eating at Otto's is not just dining, it's an experience, a very good one. This our third visit and just as memorable as the first. The dishes are opulent, the quality excellent. It is not inexpensive, but for the quality it is worth it. Wine list is well chosen, prices commensurate with the quality. I had scallops with lobster to start and then the stuffed guineafowl, followed by a classic tarte tatin. My dining buddy also had the scallops and then steak tartare, followed by a grand marnier souffle. All classic stuff and delicious.

We tried 5 different mains on the a la carte menu. All of them had outstanding sauce, I would say 2 of entrées were overpriced, not bad, but not worth 40+ pounds. The other 3 however, were excellent and worth it. The service was impeccable, great waiters. I would definitely recommend and it seemed like the tasting menu items were the better choice

Otto’s is a small, quirky restaurant that celebrates the theatre of French cooking with a decadence that feels like a throwback to pastimes. Service is on point with a really friendly feel to it. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was really good, and portions were generous. I hope to to return soon
