Food was delicious...most pasta made on site, good wine list, good service & cool vibe
Our server was great and we really enjoyed the violinist that was there that night. He was very energetic and we loved the music! Will return =)
Delicious from start to finish! Slight snafu with the valet that delayed me, but otherwise a great experience
Simply amazing, great atmosphere, took care to get us out to the show on time and fantastic food!! Squid pasta is a must.
Outstanding! Went to celebrate a birthday. Food and service were excellent. Will be going back to try other menu items.
It is a cool restaurant. The building and design it self is awesome, the food, not so much. I have gnocchi, it was cooked nicely but the sauce and flavor were not there. My girlfriend got the ravioli, also not much flavor. Food was overall bland. Desert was tasty though
Wonderful wait staff, outstanding food, exciting atmosphere and an overall great experience. Definitely a 100 out of 100. My husband and I traveled from Ft. Lauderdale just to eat here and the drive was worth every mile. Make sure to make reservations ahead of time.
Great food & great service. Authentic Italian. You will not get outrageous portions of mediocre food (try Olive Garden if that is what you are looking for). Portions are appropriate and filling without being over done. Food is light and fresh, not at all heavy - which true Italian food is. Recommend the Kobe meatball (I can see why Chef Viviani beat Bobby Flay with his meatballs!) appetizer/antipasti. Good value as well with most entree's under $30 - which is a great price for what you are getting.
We had a really good time. The staff was very friendly. The meal was exquisite!! Everything was provided very timely, including the valet. 😀
The pizza was good but I don't recommend the rigatoni shaken in a mason jar like a martini. I like the location and service; however, I don't like the two co-ed bathrooms.
Great food! A+ Service! Good crowd to be around! 💪👊👍
We found this on a whim, when it was pouring rain and we decided to change plans and find something close to our hotel. It did not hurt to find the restaurant is attached to Fabio Viviano (luv him!) We sat in a great cozy bar booth and had some wine and fabulous food! The Braised Spanish Octopus was amazing, as well as the Squid Ink Garganelli w Rock Shrimp. Service was terrific, and management is visibly available and is frequently seen chatting with guests. Great experience, we will be back!
Brad was amazing with helping us pair our drinks with food, recommending items, and just over all a pleasure to talk with! The food was hands down one of the best we’ve had in tampa. Will be back again! We loved coming on a day when it wasn’t crowded and quiet. Thank you for awesome food and service!
Awesome experience all around! I’m new to Tampa and Osteria made me feel like I was home. Will definitely be back.
I was so excited thinking south Tampa.was finally getting some authentic Italian food. Very disappointing. The food was mediocre. I don't mind paying metropolitan city prices for quality food but this didn't come close to deserving the prices charged. Service was good though.
Delicious homemade pasta, fresh ingredients, and tasty sauces made for wonderful dishes. Attentive service.
Food and service were very good, the restaurant is a little cramped.
Service, atmosphere and food were great. Highly recommend the meatball appetizer!
Great food! We loved every dish! And the mule drink was great too
Have dined here twice now and most of the food was quite good. The pasta with seafood and ciopinno were only average and did not contain a significant amount of seafood. Service is inconsistent. Prices are on the high side for food. Wine list is good not great.
I’m from San Francisco...open on there❣️
Perfectly executed scratch to table Italian masterpiece, as usual. Always enjoy bringing guests from out of town to experience what Osteria has to offer.
Everything was amazing! Food, drinks, and service!
This restaurant was recommended to us as authentic Italian cuisine. The food was very good and authentic. However, the prices were higher than we expected. The service was fabulous from reception to final check. We would highly recommend this restaurant for a special occasion.
We’re fans of Fabio and happened to be in town. Very glad to have tried it!
We tried 3 different dishes, each one was delish! The wine list is great and the service was awesome as well.
We dined here a few weeks earlier and had an amazing experience. This time around, food was cold, the same dishes were not prepared as well, and service was distracted.
Our server needed more help with Menu Knowledge and the Pasta in a Jar was a great concept but needed less of the pancetta - way too heavy handed in the dish & over powered the pasta.
Excellent customer service, everything was smooth and well organized from the second i walked in the door. i will definitely be back for dinner, drinks, or just a quick bite.
This is just what Tampa needed in thier food scene. Top notch food.
I thought that Osteria was very good but a little pricey.
I went to Osteria Tampa for dinner with a friend. We were able to get reservations, albeit early, for a Saturday night. The service was phenomenal with the waiters orienting us to the menu and their favorite dishes. The menu is really great - something for everyone from seafood to pasta, healthy to indulgent. We ordered the Pappardelle with Short Rib, Cioppino and Broccolini with garlic and chili pepper. All were very delicious and I would order again. I can't say enough about how delicious the food was and how great the overall experience was. I will go back again, especially for anniversary, birthday, etc. Wonderful place!!
Everything was amazing. The octopus was our favorite. But I would try anything on the menu
I enjoyed my experience overall. It was a nice break from regular Tampa fare. The food was great but not for the price. We ordered your equivalent of a Moscow Mule which was one of the better iterations of that drink that I've ever had.
The restaurant manager came by and asked if everything thing was alright and it was a bit pushy and really but a damper on my experience.
If a happy hour or some version of that was offered during the week, I think it would improve foot traffic while getting more people to try the food is something to think about.
A beautiful venue with tons of potential that i plan on frequenting in the future.
First time here. The food was excellent (despite the 4 star rating). The star was lost because of the cocktails. Had two different drinks off of the cocktail menu. They were their take on a Moscow mule and their take on a mojito. Whatever extra unique ingredients they added made the drinks fall flat. The mojito was undrinkable, the mule barely. Other than that disappointment, everything else was first class. Food, ambience, service, crowd, etc. I’ll definitely be back but maybe I’ll stick to wine.
Food was overpriced and mediocre at best
Bronzino was over cooked and over priced. Pizza was eh.
Our first visit! I have celiac and not allowed to eat gluten and I was IMPRESSED when handed my own gluten free menu!!!! I ordered the eggplant canneloni and it was delicious!
The location is extremely loud and service was just OK… But food was excellent… !
The food was absolutely wonderful. Would definitely return. You knew that the ingredients were fresh and everything prepared from scratch.
