   John was an outstanding server. The octopus was wonderful but could have had more than one tentacle for the price. The veal chop was out of this world and the carbonara was fabulous. Desserts were a lovely ending to our fantastic meal. We will definitely be returning. Thank you.

   One of the finest dining experiences I’ve ever had. I have been to fine dining establishments all over the country and Osteria Capri is right at the top. Just like ding in Italy. The Chef is excellent. The views superb,the staff more than accommodating. Will definitely become a regular diner of theirs.

   First time here, WILL be back. Great View, Friendly Staff, Fun Cocktails, Great house Cab, and then there's the food! Lamb Rolatini and a 22oz Bone-In Ribeye.... FANTASTIC!

   Great food and a great spot. The mosquitoes and no-see-ums at sunset and after are the only downfall. Feel they can do better with fans and candles to help with that.

    Overall, very good, except an issue with the server who charged me $22 for a 2 oz Grey Goose Martini with Blue Cheese stuffed olives. I had the smaller glass 2 0z, and she insisted I had the 3 OZ, and also said their policy is to charge extra for Grey Goose and stuffed olives. I responded, how am I supposed to know this if you didn't bring it to my attention? Even if I had the 3oz martini, $22 is overpriced.

    We’ve been to Osteria many times and love to go for lunch on weekends. The menu and wine list are excellent. We always start with a pizza appetizer, the Caesar and then individual entrees. We’ve had everything and they are all good. Spaghetti scampi, Gnocchi with cream sauce and the bolognese were excellent today. Outside seating is under an awning so no direct sun - beautiful breeze right on the water. Just love the place - will always come back here for a great meal.

    I saw the rating was 4* but the menu looked good and it was in the water and decided to take a chance. What a wonderful dinner! The homemade bread was the softest I’d ever had, served with olive oil, balsamic vinegar and Parmesan cheese. The Caesar salad was excellent. Both the salmon with a dijonaise Prosecco sauce and my Ki g Prawn with scallops entrees were excellent. Our server was excellent too. We will definitely be back!

    After calling ahead to confirm an outside seat because our guests showed up with an 8 lb dog and after driving 30 minutes to get there, they turned us away. The hostess acknowledged that she spoke to me on the phone and gave the okay for us to come. She then told us we could come in but not with the dog and walked away. No apology - From our car, we made a reservation at another restaurant who was happy to accommodate us at the last minute.

    Very poor experience. We were seated promptly at a nice utdoor table with a great view. Then no human contact for 15 minutes. Went to bar to ask for service. Waiter arrived and apologized effectively. Took our drink order and came back quickly with two glasses of wine. Then again no human contact for another 10-15 minutes. Finally another waiter came by and asked how everything was!! Asked to place our order, my wife ordered a salad that had gorgonzola cheese - she asked for parmesan instead. The waiter said it was not possible (no substitutions - How hard is it to replace one cheese with another on an uncooked item?!). She accepted the lack of substitution, she tehn ordered a pasta dish and asked for a side cup of red sauce. Again not allowed! At this point I was not happy with the lack of customer service and understanding, I wanted my wife to have a nice meal (it was our anniversary). We told the waiter it was not his fault and the owner had the right to run his business as see saw fit but we were not going t be part of it. Asked for check for the wine - waiter graciuosluy waived the charge. In this day of many choices of dining venues and cost to dine out I don't see how this policy/attitude works. my rating of food, etc is a default one star because I had to fill out all items to write the review. Two observations - the bread was very ordinary, soft crust, little flavor and prices very high ($55 for fish special).

    From our hostess to our waiter, everything was fantastic. My wife was just stunned by the quality of the homemade pasta. I asked for recommendations, and she provided exactly what she thought I wanted, and it was wonderful. We don’t ever go back to the same place twice all over the world.     We were there for Easter dinner. Right away we were greeted by your friendly hostess. We had booked indoors as it seemed all that was available. She offered us outdoor seating which was great. Our waitress was very friendly and served us well. My meal of Chilean Sea Bas, my favourite fish, did not disappoint. It was perfectly good, literally melted in my mouth. The risotto was tasty and I loved the single artichoke. My husband chose chicken parmigiana. It was ok and the portion was too big. Both our desserts were good. I chose the Cannoli which was great. My husband had vanilla gelato which he enjoyed. All in all a great dining experience. I highly recommend Osteria

    Date night w/ my husband. Our server was great and we really enjoyed listening to the music outside by the water. Food was average and incredibly overpriced for what we got. I had the yellowtail snapper, it was cooked perfectly but the caper sauce didn’t have any flavor- thankfully the lemon wedge added the acid the dish needed. Homemade pasta that came w/ the dish had great texture but again was missing something. Side of veggies were nothing special. My husband had the Bolognese and it was bland. I will say that it is hard to season for everyone’s palates, especially in a retirement/ tourist area. We did get a pizza to go, reheated the next day and it was really good so fresh, it’s probably fantastic! Best in the area! I will be ordering their pizza again.

    When we arrived we were told that our confirmed interior reservation was not guaranteed. It was raining so we were put outside patio. Chairs wet and drip from overhead coming down. Fly in water and fork was caked with melted cheese. Cod was below average large portions but no flavour. Waiter not very friendly . Bread old. Best was the activation of bug spray right over our table - happened a few times - when we questioned waiter he told us it was safe just citronella - actually was such a mist I could hardly see the person across from me and it covered our entire table including the food on the plates. No offer of pepper or added cheese on pasta- no one asked how the food was. A nearby boat was starting up so there was strong diesel fumes. One of my guest said it was their worst Italian meal that they ever had - including the appetizer, main and dessert.

    Food was outstanding and our waitress was very efficient and nice. It was our first visit after IAN and we are happy that they are back in business. We went with one of our daughters and our granddaughter. On Saturday hopefully we will be back with our other daughter and granddaughter

    Great view of sunset, but very over priced average food. Cacio e Pepe had almost no pepper or flavor. Papardelle Bolognase was pretty good. Carbonara was average. View was beautiful and our server was very arrogant and not very friendly. A lot better Italian food in Marco or in Naples to be had.

    Our server was extreemly rude. He seemed friendly at first, but then didn't come to check on us for a long time and didn't pour our wine. We had to go inside to find someone to ask why our food was taking so long (it had been 45 minutes since the appetizers came out). Someone in the kitchen finally brought it out. There were a ton of mosquitos and bugs circling the food (and we had been getting bitten), so we asked to be moved inside. We had to go inside to ask the hostess (as our server was MIA). She was a little put off with the request and said she wasn't the one to make the decsion but she would check. They accommodated us moving insde and a nice young man brought all of our dishes to our new table quickly. Our original server came over and seemed miffed when we commented that a couple of the dishes were cold. He huffed off and said "It is not cold. I will NOT be back to check on you." We were completely blown away by this. Yes, the risotto and spinach was cold and he disregarded us and was rude. The nice young server was very attentive and he came back to check on us several times. There was nothing that we did that should have offeneded the first server or made the original server so mad. We simply checked on our food and asked to be moved inside. We will not be back.

    Food was good but bland- needed a little more taste. Staff was very good, friendly, and attentive Atmosphere was terrible, very boring, nothing to look at and no ambiance. Sat outside & could use some plants or table separator screens. Will not be returning as it is also overpriced.

    Lovely experience. A beautiful sunset spot. The Fettuccine monte e Mari (land and sea) was excellent. Just the right nuance of truffle. Lasagna was good. EVOO and balsamic dipping plate for the bread was delicious. The carpaccio is a thicker style of beef slice. At other tables the pizza looked excellent as did the chefs signature sea bass and carbonara. We’ll be going back to try those.
