Local Yorktown residents Daniel Stackpoole & Summer Hellis, the co-founders of the award winning Madison's restaurant in Pendleton Indiana, are proud to bring their love of authentic Italian cuisine and wine to their friends and neighbors in and around the Muncie area.

Our history:
Opened in the spring of 2018, osteria32 is the culmination of Chef Daniel's 25+ years of experience in the restaurant industry. Focusing on the tradition of classic Italian Osterias by providing elegant and tasteful Italian inspired dishes in a casual and relaxed communal environment with an emphasis on wine.

Our specialities:
Our team at osteria32 in Muncie, takes special care to promote the Italian tradition of creating dishes that utilize authentic regional ingredients. This is most notable in our extensive selection of imported Italian cheeses, charcuterie, salami and suggested wine pairings.

Food was excellent and going early ensured that we did not have to deal with a crowd. The service was also excellent. We were very pleased and happy to be dining out and still feeling safe.

The authentic Italian food is fantastic, and is every bit as good as most upscale restaurants in major cities. Muncie is quite lucky to have Osteria32!

If one is in the mood for Italian cuisine & something good, this is it. I have chosen to dine here twice since the “scamdemic,” and I would not hesitate to either recommend or dine at Osteria32, again!

Introduced another couple to Osteria. It was a slam dunk. They will return. Kept it simple: large Carne Supremo and a large Chef’s Favorite. A bottle of the Barolo and life is good. MaKayla (sp?) and Brandan were great as usual.

We have visited Osteria 32 multiple times in the past months and count it out favorite Italian restaurant in town. We love everything from the fresh bread with roasted garlic and olive oil to the Italian wines and evening fresh pasta dishes! I had the lasagna which was loaded with lots of meat in the sauce. It was savory with a slight sweetness. Delicious! This is our go to restaurant in Muncie. High end for a small town!

Fabulous deep dish pizza. We took our daughter there, who lives in Chicago. She said the pizza was better than Chicago. And she has eaten at all the big-name pizza places there!
