   We were looking forward to a new place to go for a meal. What a disappointment. The beers we originally ordered from the list were unavailable. The French Onion Soup, $8 was half the size of normal size crock and was sooo salty we sent it back. It was explained to us that it was savory which would present as salty. No, it doesn't. The salads were in general fine, but really felt thrown together. The cider dressing was way to tart and tasted as if it was just cider. The chicken breast was actually served as a leg and thigh, that was cooked through but the connection from leg to thigh was still tight which made it difficult to get all the meat off and made me wonder how long it was cooked. The asparagus side with bacon was fine and the Lebanese rice was ok. The salmon was just ok, but nothing special over what we would cook at home and was not very hot. The side of green beans had an unusual flavor we could not identify and the risotto was fine. While they were kind enough to remove the soups from the check I doubt we will be returning. After we realized we had racked up a $90+ dinner we decided to forgo the desert.

   We were at the mill celebrating a birthday. The meal from start to finish was exceptional. The wait staff was attentive to us and everyone else in the restaurant.

   Attended the Christmas dinner. Prime Rib was served at room temperature. Salad and dessert were very good. Band came in to play. Lead singer loud, rude, placed his guitar case on a table over place setting, once guitar case removed place setting was not exchanged for a clean set. Lead singer ostracized the remaining band members - they then left the group during a song. Not an enjoyable evening.

   Hostess wasn’t very pleasant upon entering the restaurant. Very limited menu…. No bar or liquor license.

   Average food taste. Waffles were candy like sweet. Sausage patty had a unusual taste and not in a good way. IMHO The Waffle House has better quality/taste of food. Terrific location and ambiance. Web site has the food looking better than it was. Service: Did you ever feel like the wait staff was doing you a favor by waiting/serving you? I am not a food critic or snob. This is my opinion of my experience. Was hoping for better.

   Quaint restaurant in an old mill. Parking a bit challenging. Food was good, not great. Was expecting it to be better. I’ll give them another chance.

   Service was slow, seemed to be under staffed. Food was delicious and attractively plated. Setting was quiet and intimate.

    Down a winding road in a holler, this charming, tiny, rustic restaurant with delish food, great steaks and great service. Delightful music in an intimate setting.
