While the food was delicious there were a couple drawbacks. For one, there was no warning that for a party of 8 we wouldn’t be allowed to split checks. They did allow it in the end but with a warning it wouldn’t allowed in the future, which for the life of me I can’t understand. Working in the service industry for years I had to split 20 tops before without issue. An 8 top should not have required so much discussion. Also, due to the fact food comes as it’s ready, this caused us to not only not have certain food arrive at all, but we also were mostly eating our things separately. The timing just seemed off. For being a more upscale place there were some big let downs. Our server was very good overall, taking care of our friends we were celebrating, if I was only judging the food and the servers attempts to help, I’d give 5 stars, but the timing and the issue with the checks adds to the experience which ended up causing an annoying experience at the end of our meal. And constantly wondering where each person’s food and appetizers were because of how random that was.. again, overall experience is affected.

Hi Sarah, apologies for the experience you had. Sounds like we missed the mark on the timing on the guest courses. There is no excuse for courses to not come out together. I do not know exactly how your table ordered but typically the food should come out togehter. I will definitely share your feedback with the team. As far as splitting checks, we do not do seperate checks for groups of 10 or more and definitely not 20. However, we could have been more accommodating for your group of 8. I will be sure to share this example with my team. Thank You Sarah

The plate they put on the table with the silverware was not clean, so that was gross. The bar was really slow on drinks. The waiter was fun and interactive as he could be in their busy environment. The brunch menu is very limited compared to many other restaurants in Tampa.

The service was great. She did a great job being warm and inviting. Food and drinks were as always top notch. We love coming here.

We had an early reservation and there was not hardly anyone seated in restaurant at and hostess was training another hostess. She purposely made us wait (my Dad is handicapped) and would not seat us. The. When she “showed us who was boss” she then seated us directly behind the podium at first 4 top. It was rude of her, extremely unnecessary and unacceptable. Food was good but service was mediocre and hostess was an absolute witch.

Hi Courtney, thank you for sharing and my sincere apologies you were made to feel this way. I assure you though there may have been tables, there is a reason we cannot seat those tables. However, perhaps my team could have been a little more accommodating by offering a seat in the lounge (couch and tables/chairs) while you and your dad waited to be seated. Kale salad was outstanding. Very unique flavors. Prime sirloin burger was also outstanding. Service was a bit slow. A server going by dropped a full glass filled with water and it shattered and water went all over my legs and lower back and my purse. I would've thought that the manager would have stopped by. They had about four servers trying to clean it up. They knew the water splashed all over me, but at no time did anyone say anything about me getting splashed on. I realize mistakes happen and it was not a big deal however, when the full glass of water was dropped right next to my feet, they should've at least said something. Oh well. It should've just been a courtesy check. . Food was great.

Hi Mary, Apologies we made a mess of things when that glass of water accidentally fell. I also apologize you were made to feel no one cared to check in or follow up. I assure you this is what we do and after looking into this, a manager was unfortunately not made aware of the situation. We have little things that go wrong all the time and that is something we always do. I have shared this experience with my team in hopes of improving our communication. Very mediocre for price. Do not recommend outdoor seating. Food is ok. We ordered the $130 prime rib eye and it was well done for medium request. Had a bunch of other starters and only the Mussels with curry was good. All servers are great. Otherwise would lose more stars. They charge a cake cutting fee if you bring your own cake. Even at finer establishments we have never seen this. Would not return.
