Fantastic food and service! I had the wagu beef burger and my partner had the salmon. The beef was juicy, soft and cooked exactly to order. The salmon was mild with an orange marmalade and mustard sauce, topped with crispy potato strings for a pop. Dinner was delicious and I highly recommend it.
Very classy. Our group of 6 had a wonderful time with one exception--we all ordered steaks and they were delicious but not as hot as expected. The mgr offered to reheat but we didn't want to do that.
The patio was the place to eat. Views of the lake and foliage while eating a fine meal !!!!
Dana our server was fantastic!
Received balsamic salad dressing and it was thick and congealed, would not pour at all,,, server did not seem to care. Pork chop was good. Sides small portioned, but tasty.
Food was excellent and nice to sit outside by the water. A bit of road noise from 41.
Our waiter Alain was exceptional. He really made the evening very pleasant.
Excellent...in every category...will highly recommend and return.
The food was delicious and our waiter Michael was great. Will definitely go back again.
All about the food isn’t it—
My 1st time there — I had tomahawk pork chop - my wife had a surf /turf
I will be back— Definitely should be a go to place if around Bonita Springs
Furthermore it is attached to Bonita Bay hotel which is a very nice place- they also have good food at their Tiki Bar
I loved this restaurant last season before Covid. Last nigh was a culinary disaster. Horrible mussels, lackluster wedge salad, tasteless riibeye steak, 2 tablespoons of a spinach side. What happened???? It is too pricey to have such mediocre food.
Excellent service and the outside dining is lovely. Bring back the great food!!!
Honestly, our server appeared to be impaired.
Also, he NEVER checked in on us for , as an example, more water, or checking the food.
Our steaks were cool.. but we didn't see him, so, we ate them as is.
We are truly sorry for the lack of service this is not AT ALL our standard here. We appreciate your feedback and we will be better! We hope you can give us another chance to change your experience with us. Thanks, Addison
A friend of ours told us we absolutely HAD to try this place, so we did. The cocktail of the evening was a lovely bartender crafted gin with lavender beverage which complimented my dinner perfectly; a steak with bacon wrapped shrimp combo. The dining room is quaintly intimate, and once this place gets known it’s gonna have a wait list a mile long. Our server was professional but also hilarious, I think his name was Tom. We will be back.
We went here to celebrate our 43rd anniversary. I thought everything about the restaurant was excellent. My husband thought his filet was just a little tough but everything else was perfect.
I would recommend this restaurant to everyone!
A welcome addition to Bonita Springs’ restaurant choices.. Patio tables with a lake view are also an atmospheric choice for upscale dining.
We had a wonderful dinner at the Olde Florida Chop House. We were greeted by a warm and friendly hostess. We chose to eat inside since it was a humid night, but we felt very comfortable with the staff and the spacing. I had the perfect combo - the French onion soup and the steak salad. Both were prepared to perfection. My husband had the meatloaf which he enjoyed very much except for the asparagus which he always gives to me! We also thoroughly enjoyed the music set at just the right level. It was as great date night!
Outside table, food, service impeccable. Restaurants are hurting and not crowded. I encourage patronage among those who are able.
Jamie, our server, was excellent, cheerful and nothing was too much trouble.
This was our first time at Olde Florida Chop House but it will be our regular, from now on!
Best meal we have had in a long time. our server, Alain was wonderful and helped us chose everything. His advice and personality enhanced a wonderful evening!
We will repeat soon with Alain.
This was our first visit and we look forward to going back soon!
Excellent service, very professional, over priced!
Had a wonderful meal! Michael provided excellent service. Loved my Blood Orange Margarita. I ordered the Lobster and Filet and it was prepared perfectly. The Vase Salad was interesting and delicious. Finished the night with a Baked Alaska and it was amazing! My favorite restaurant!
Wow! Thank you so much for the 5-star review! We are glad you enjoyed your meal and service from Micheal! We hope to see you again soon! Thank you Trianon Management Team
The food and service was excellent. It’s a lovely setting, with very friendly wait staff. It’s expensive so it’s a once in a while stop.
A great place for a special dinner. Our waiter David welcomed us with some amazing drink selections (smoked Manhatten!) and reviewed our dining choices. While this is a chophouse with wonderful meats, I chose the Chilean Sea Bass (it was as good or better than Nimo's). Their chef was very imaginative as all the selections were eye-catching and delicious.
We ordered the steak. It was the best we have had and done to our liking. This was our 1st time at the restaurant and will defiantly go back.
Good place to dine.
Went for the early 3 course menu and were delighted with the available selection, presentation, preparation and service. Were with two other couples and selected a table outdoors overlooking the lake. Great setting and quiet for quality conversation. I highly recommend it. A tad pricey but worth every penny. Ask for Alain for extremely attentive service!
We decided on this restaurant as we were in Estero FL. It was awesome! We purposely did the Monday night Prime Rib special. It included a Fr Onion soup or Ceasar Salad which Imchose the soup and it was the best I have ever had. We both got the $27.00 Princess cut apps included with Prime Rib which came with mashed potatoes and green beans and juices from PR drippings. It melted in our mouths. In between we got included a Palette Cleanse which was on a white porcelain spoon with Procuitto and Golden Melon that was nice. The restaurant has a nice indoor dining and also Patio well with a lovely view. The Exec. Chef’s skills were amazing hats off to David O’Donnell. Our waiter was Tom and he was absolutely wonderful . I would like to give a special mention to him he was worth the evening. Our after dinner latte and coffee was served on a round platter plate which was a really nice touch. The only thing I have negative to say is Pretzel buns seem to be a huge thing down there and ours were big round ones which honestly tasted burnt I would have preferred a nice dinner roll especially with Prime Rib.. we just didnt eat them.. . We cannot wait to return on our next trip. Also, its really hard to find this restaurant its attached to a hotel to the left in the same plaza as Roy’s restaurant off South Bay Dr. I give this restaurant a 10* rating if I could. Truly a great meal.. Happy Canadian :)
WOW! Thank you so much for the great review! We will make sure Tom is recognized for his dedication to excellence in service. We appreciate this review of our restaurant and hope to see you soon!
Well worth the visit, good value, pleasant ambiance, yummy food
Everything was as expected , lobster bisque, samon and salads were very good
First time at this restaurant and discovered it’s only been open a few months. Server Alaine was professional and exceptional. Strong wine list, good appetizer selection, excellent chophouse menu selections, and good variety of desserts. It was a good find on a busy Saturday night and, although a bit pricey, it will be worth a return trip.
Food and service excellent!!!
Food was delicious, beet salad is very tiny but tasty, steaks, filet and pork chops outstanding, scalloped potatoes wonderful! Our waiter was great, but the ambience doesn’t fit the type of food served and price of food. It lacks that class feel. If they change this , they would fill the room nightly. Steak is worth going back for ! Yum!
Early dining war sehr gut, angenehme Atmosphäre, guter Service, leckeres Essen.
Service was extremely slow
We truly apologize for your service experience. We will strive to be better and we hope you will give us another chance.
Was outstanding. Food, service and value. Our new favorite for date night
When the server greeted us and poured water into the wine glasses on the table and then picked up the water glasses I knew service wouldn’t be great. Here’s where else service lacked.
- 10 minutes to receive first round of drinks, 20 minutes to receive second round
- one entree arrived prepared incorrectly, stone crab was ordered warmed and arrived on ice so we sent it back. It took about 15 minutes for the corrected entree to arrive. It should not have taken that long.
- no cocktail forks were provided for stone crab or Alaskan king crab
- no dish or bowl was provided for crab shells
- while not always expected, for a fine dining experience it’s nice to offer a hot towel and lemon after eating crab legs.
- server said someone called in which why they were so thankful for everyone’s patience. That may be but too many mistakes were made for a meal that cost hundreds of dollars. One free key lime pie, while nice, doesn’t make up for all the missing service details
- no ambiance for restaurant decor, it’s a small open room
Food and service was great - a bit noisy.
We all felt very special with all the personalized service~food was excellent! Presentation was
impeccable; everyone at our table were very impressed. We have put this restaurant to the
top of our list~
Both the food and the service were excellent! Definitely going back!
Excellent food & service & attractive venue!
