The food was outstanding— the beet salad, chowder, trout with polenta and pasta dishes were all hits— and the deserts put our experience over the top. Service was warm, fun and gracious although the three people covering the dining room and bar had their hands full, probably due to an extreme labor shortage in Jackson. Wonderful dining.

Definitely not for a meat eater. Featured as an Italian restaurant but I never got that feel. Beautiful views of the mountains, however, they seat you so that your back faces the mountain.

Outstanding service from Miller. Attentive even though he was busy and made excellent suggestions. The entree portion (rabbit ragu) was delicious and a huge portion I could only eat half! Would have liked a bit more of the housemade noodles which were delicious but a bit sparse compared to the amount of rabbit. My beet salad with pistachios was again large enough to share but I was grateful to have leftovers to take home. My husband had the charred corn soup (it smelled heavenly) and he really enjoyed it. and his trout was excellent. The Lemon tarts were big portions but so delicious we were glad that we each got one instead of sharing. We’ll be back!

Ordered spaghetti and it was terrible. Absolutely no taste. $25 for a $1.00 of pasta! Big disappointment! Costly and not worth it!

Our server, Miller, was awesome. He was attentive and made our dining experience really fun.
Food was above and beyond delicious. We had the agnolotti, the truffle pizza, the trout, and the eggplant. The corn soup starter was especially phenomenal as well. We brought our own bottle of wine, but each had a cocktail that were all great too. Our server was knowledgeable about both the drink and food menus.
Great place for dinner :)

Way over priced, I ordered trout and it came with two toney pieces of trout and a whole plate full of tomatoes, and horrible polenta. I started with a salad I took 45 minutes to get. I would never go there again.

Seems our order was misplaced - never communicated to us until the end - service and food was not good. I do not recommend this restaurant.

This place was awesome! It really surprised us is a very good way. We sat in beautiful peach-colored semi circular booth by windows overlooking mountains. The menu is small, but everything we tried was delicious! The trout was awesome (wish fish!), the home made pesto on the focaccia, the huckleberry cobbler! We took a bottle of champagne & red wine. Cork fee is $27. We loved it.

Very sad because this place used to be one of our favorites. Definitely a mess going on there. Staff looked messy & confused, floor was dirty, curtains broken, food was mediocre. Saw one of the waiter keep wiping his nose with his hand...

The menu is too limited and clearly trying too hard to impress with off beat combos. Should not be eliminating the pizza service/choices. Unfortunate because great location and pretty room.

We had high hopes and were excited for our dinner. Drinks took 30 minutes. We had to ask for them twice. We received our soup, which was very good, but no soup spoon. Again we had to ask. From the time we walked in to the time we got our dinner we were there 1 hour and 20 minutes. 30 minutes had passed between our soup and main entree. When we received our meal, we asked for the bill. I was over it by that time. Just disappointed. I would like to say that the hostess was lovely and we never saw her stop!

Not the OYG from days past, Dubois/Town Square/Initial Teton Village opening…food is totally off the rails, striving but missing the mark: spaghetti swinging in scented broth? Under dressed salads, rabbit Ravi and pasta met for the Forst time on the plate not in prep…basic violation of Italian cooking. Focaccia bread and efficient kind service the highlight.

Many other better, more fairly priced options in the valley, skip OYG.

Service and food was great. They put us in a separate room so we would not have to wait for a table which was nice. The only reason for a rating of 4 was the room was nice but the table short and chairs were more for setting and drinking while waiting for a table not to try to eat at.

We had a reservation and were seated promptly. The waitress was very accommodating. The hostess was assisting the servers because they were obviously very short staffed. The menu was minimal, different than what was shown on line. There we a couple of things we ordered that they were out of. Again, the servers and hostess were working hard to make our experience pleasant.

I’m not quite sure what was going on with the wait staff, but they were exceptionally rude when we were there. Unfortunately how the restaurant was designed, it created lots of noise and a perfect tunnel to carry sound back to the tables. They were talking negatively about our party… How they wanted to quit, thought this was an awful job, etc. Then when our food came out, the order wasn’t even right. I will say that all the food was wonderful, and the drinks were pretty good. But the restaurant and service made the experience unpleasant.

From the host telling us our table was not ready (another party requested our reserved table because theirs was next to a party thy was wearing too much “axe body spray”) then not getting a server to take our drink order for over 10 minutes and then ordering a Caesar salad which comes with anchovies, to be served and then had to ask where the anchovies were?! The food was really good, If you can put up with subpar service? Then you’ll be ok eating here.

We loved the atmosphere of the dining room. Very upscale decor, but not stuffy. Everyone was cozied up in booths, clearly having just left the slopes. The cocktails were delicious and the charcuterie board was everything we needed after a long day of skiing. We will definitely be back the next time we come to JH!

OYG was great! Easy to get to from the slopes, and a great lunch spot for a reasonable (for a mountain) price.
