Outstanding dining experience. Our server was incredible, food was delicious and the ambiance was well suited.
Wonderful!! Great place to celebrate a special occasion
It was as expected
Overall it was good
Food was excellent and our server, Howard, was knowledgeable and took great care of us.
Favorite restaurant because it's beautiful but the food was blah.
Everything was fantastic! Our waitress was good however you could tell she was off her game for the night training someone and covering tables. You could tell that normally she is probably exceptional. Nothing bad, just noticeable. Had to ask the trainee a few times for some items but it was a pleasurable dining experience still.
This place was very accommodating. I made a reservation for 12 and had to increase the party size by 2 at the last minute. The manager noticed that the table prepared for us was too small and offered to put us in the private space that was able to accommodate the entire party. It was a generous gesture to shift his staff around for us and we greatly appreciated that. Our server, Michael, was exceptional! The food was delicious. The only thing we were disappointed by was the lobster fried rice. It lacked flavor but everything else tasted amazing!
Solid but hardly spectacular. The cooked seafood appetizer we ordered for the table was good but not particularly special. The people who ordered sea bass thought their dishes were excellent with the exception of the mashed potatoes that accompanied the sea-bass special; the crab that appeared on top of the dish was not lump. I was underwhelmed by my meal--chicken-fried lobster with grits was satisfactory but not as good as I had hoped. The baked Alaska for dessert was a treat for the eyes.
Our waitress Nilani was excellent!
We have not eaten in Oceanaire since the pandemic began, we did however order take out. This visit was as we remembered it pre-pandemic. The food and service were as great as we expected and remembered.
Thanks for keeping your quality high.
The appetizers was delicious! The crab cakes we amazing ! A little disappointed in the main course ! But the service was excellent!
Nice atmosphere but could use more light. The food was OK lacked seasoning. The waitress was very knowledgeable and took her time to explaining the menu. The portions were small and extremely overpriced.
Food was overall excellent lobster fried rice, salmon, crab cakes, shrimp, sautéed spinach, crab soup — except for the chicken fried lobster which was very salty (could not eat it) and the truffle mashed potatoes were lukewarm not hot. The server was decent but we weren’t offered any bread and had to ask and it was then brought at the end of the meal. Besides that, the service was good. The restaurant is very dark and you can hardly see the menu without a phone light.Overall a good dining experience and we would return.
We were in town for the night and wanted an excellent seafood meal. Oceanaire was close to the hotel and we decided to walk over and it lived up to expectations.
Service was excellent, food was outstanding.
Great for date night
Excellent service- from host to server - very nice decor inside- most people there were there for special occasions however the quality of food considering the very high prices was disappointing- lobster tail had no meat- filet was chewy and a side of mashed potatoes was $15- to me that was way overpriced
Food was good but was seriously dissapointed on the portions or lackof for everything including the apps, side dishes, and entrees. I left hungry and we ordered alot. Was there on a business dinner with 2 of my customers. I wouldn't go again on this basis alone.
Delicious food, excellent service, and our favorite dessert - baked Alaska set aflame at the table!
I have enjoyed Oceanaire in several states. I made reservations in Baltimore as a return visit. I believe my last time here was December of 2020. I made a reservation for the same seat I had on my last visit. When I arrived I was told that the seat wasnt available but they would give me an immediate seat. That was disappointing but I know things happen. At the new seat the waiter gave a lukewarm greeting and then I believe said his name. When I repeated his name back to him, at least twice, he informed me I had the name wrong then overly exaggerated what his name was. It was done in a condescending way. I asked for my original table and was lead to the host stand, by the waiter, who told me to follow him as the table was ready. It wasnt ready and the Host let me know we could have the alternate seat but with another waiter. After a very expensive dinner I left the restaurant thinking that it is no longer a go to choice. I cant recall if the meal was worth a return visit but the service will certainly be a reason that I will not return if I want to impress my company. I did not feel special nor did I feel partnership for supporting an industry impacted by the Pandemic. Unimpressed, below average; nothing to see here.
Excellent experience for our 22nd wedding anniversary. We had a wonderful time.
The food was just ok. The prices was high. The restaurant was freezing. The baked Alaska was horrible at the end. The alcohol the server poured on the dessert to light it on fire didn’t dissolve so all we tasted was pure 150 proof alcohol. The experience wasn’t good enough for us to return.
It’s a little to dark. Had difficulty reading the menu. Perhaps there could be a little more lighting at each table. Also it was a little tight getting into the booth seating.
Food and service were amazing! Our waiter took the time to explain the menu to us and answer our questions.
Outstanding as always! We try to go every time we’re in Baltimore. Chicken fried lobster and sea bass can’t be beat! Charlie, Kimberly and Jarrod are fantastic! See you in October Oceanaire!
Had a friend visiting from Tennessee, she loves seafood so we wanted to take her somewhere nice to welcome her to Maryland. We decided on Oceanaire and we did not regret it. Everything was phenomenal, i can’t remember our waitress’s name but i remember she had blond dreads, SHE WAS AMAZING!!! very knowledgeable about the menu, very professional yet also down to earth and we greatly appreciated that. She recommended the chilean seabass for me, salmon for my friend, and the crab cakes for my other friend. All 3 were phenomenal so compliments to the chef(s) as well.
All around great experience
Quick and friendly service. The food was as expected!
Oceanaire is one of our favorite places to dine. Tonight was no exception. The service was impeccable. The food to die for. The ambience was relaxed and chill. I suggest Oceanaire to everyone who is sitting at home planning their next dining out event. You won't be disappointed.
Every step of the way was delicious!!! Drinks, appetizers, dinners, wine, desert & coffees. All was superb. Adam was our server. He was very informative and helpful. Top notch service. This is obviously not where you go for some bargain meal. The NY Strip was perfectly charred and prepared medium rare, the Chilean Sea Bass (Simply Prepared / brushed with lemon butter) was to die for, the crab cakes were among the best (lumpy and tasty)....... And I'm a Baltimore guy. I know crab cakes. Sour dough bread was extra-sour. Great Dinner!!
Our waitress, Jamie was absolutely amazing! I truly appreciate her positive energy, attention to detail and outstanding service! She was extremely knowledgeable, prompt and professional. I will be returning the the Baltimore location again!!
Great experience dining with friends. Our waiter was training another waiter and we enjoyed the interactions. Service details were all on point. Our friends asked about the peach glaze on the salmon, as it was unique and subtle, and our waiter proposed a side order of glaze to kick it up--perfect! Other main courses included crab cakes and the soft shell crab--amazing. Drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, appetizers, especially the raw oysters, were fabulous. The second round of drinks was 'stronger' our friends informed. The key lime pie was more of a cheesecake, and the berry tart was delicious.
Amazing!!! We love it and the manager’s are awesome!
This was our first time at Oceanaire and we were truly impressed! We originally planned to come for restaurant week, but we decided to order from the regular menu. Everything we had was absolutely fantastic, especially the lobster mac and cheese! This was definitely a “splurge” date night for us, but my boyfriend and I both agreed it was worth every penny. Service was great and the food came out very quickly. We can’t wait to come back!
The waitress very nice and gracious.
The entire crew was great.
A friend and I came to experience restaurant week. Our waitress was amazing, recommended good wine and the food was also amazing! I'll definitely be returning.
From the time we entered the door, it was special. Delicious calamari, yummy lobster Mac and cheese, best sea bass ever! Service was impeccable! Will be back soon!
The food was so good and I never had fried rice that taste so good and lobster was really good.
The server was beyond excellent!!
Nice ambience. Happy hour is amazing! Dinner menu is good too but don’t go for the crab cakes, they have no flavor. Service is usually good.
