   The service was beyond terrible. The food was poor in relation to the price paid. They were clearly shorthanded. We were looking forward to this for Mother’s Day and two birthdays. We will not return.

   Mixed Experience at Oceanaire Baltimore – Great Food, Disappointing Service I recently dined at Oceanaire in Baltimore with my wife and two young children. While the food was truly excellent—fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared—the service left much to be desired. Throughout the evening, we were left sitting for long stretches without any attention from our server. We had to flag down busboys and other staff members for basic needs like a water refill, an extra plate, and even updates to our order. Unfortunately, we were never offered dessert or the crafted espresso drinks listed on the menu, which we were looking forward to trying. What made the experience more frustrating was watching the table directly behind us receive attentive, full-service treatment—from cocktails through dessert—while we felt largely overlooked. Dining out with a family can be a challenge, and we chose Oceanaire hoping for both high-quality food and an elevated experience. While the kitchen delivered, the service fell far short of expectations. I hope this was an isolated experience and not reflective of their usual standard.

   We loved our dinner! Servuce was great. Our only complaint was that my fruity drink didn’t come with the star fruit and edible pearl as indicated on the menu.

   Great menu that appeals to all appetites. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly, easy to talk to. Our food came promptly and had a nice presentation. The potions were plentiful. It was a good spot to choose for our first visit to Baltimore.
