So sorry to do this, the only reason is because its not the first time, my food was cold , I had so much less on my plate than my guests and we all ordered the same. 2 out of the 5 very minute muscles were empty and the rest were half the size of my pinkie nail, so sorry i didn't take a pic, unfortunately everyone at our table was the same. Our Grilled calamari was so tough that we could not eat it.... no one did, the fish was so fishy which tells me it was frozen and not fresh, had soooo much bones, again everyone. the salad tasted like fridge, like everything was limp, frozen and then defrosted and put on a plate, such a pity as i love the salad, had a very strange taste, waste of money no one really ate the salad. No specials or anything special for all the fathers LOL, not even a little chocolate, WELL DONE Bromley for going the extra mile, Kingston didn't bother. Oh and then we were basically told to leave because they wanted to put someone at our table LOL, the table next to us was there long before us and not told to leave!!. shocking!! I still wanted to order a Dom Pedro.

Great lunch experience - we enjoyed the family seafood platter and a village salad. Utterly delicious (as always). Dom Pedro milkshake desserts were sublime too

great atmosphere as usual; very busy; most of the times it requires booking- this says a lot about the place. Food is tasty, delicious; great for family and kids.

Food was good but staff took a while clearing plates, and we sat with prawn shells on our table for over 40 minutes. It’s the second I’ve been there when wines on the wine list weren’t available. It’s such a limited wine menu that it’s surprising

The staff especially Saeideh were super friendly and attentive. The food was great and the Dom Pedros delicious.

This was our second visit. The plate for one was great value. The dynamite prawns were just breaded prawns with a fiery mayonnaise over the top so were a bit bland. My disappointment lay in the Eton mess which was served with warm fruit and not much ice cream making it a weird warm dessert. When I gave feedback that maybe the frozen fruit should have been defrosted I was informed their microwave did not have that function and the fruit was accidentally heated for too long which is why it turned into a warm dessert!

Very pleased with our first visit to Ocean Basket, Kingston. Saeideh and the other staff were friendly and attentive and the food was wonderful. Fish (Hake) cooked just right with light and crispy batter served piping hot. Inventive starters and an unexpectedly classy presentation. Fish and chips + more with personality and a spacious comfortable dining room facing the river Thames. Will be back!!
