The Cave Café offers indoor and outdoor dining. Enjoy the enchanting ambiance of dining inside the cave or outdoor dining overlooking the majestic views of the De Portola Wine Trail. Our friendly, approachable, and extremely informed staff will make your dining and wine tasting experience unforgettable.

Our Cave Café welcomes diners Sunday - Thursday, between 11am to 6pm and Friday - Saturday, between 11am to 8pm. Reservations are not required but highly recommend during the weekends. We can comfortably accommodate parties with up to 8 guests in the restaurant. For larger parties, please feel free to contact us at 951-699-9102.

The Cave is a very cool place to have a meal. The major problem we had when we had dinner there was the type of "music" that was blasting out the entire time we were there. The music was so loud we had basically to shout at each other. On top of that it was terrible music. I don't know what it is called but it was gross music for people to listen to who wanted a nice enjoyable time. The food overall was good. I had the short rib and it was very flavorful. My wife had salmon which was excellent. The risotto side with the salmon was utterly tasteless. No flavor whatsoever. Totally bland. The flight of red wine was fair. We didn't buy a bottle there. The service was okay could have been better. Unless the choice of music changes we will not be returning to the Cave for a meal.

Great experience!! Started in the tasting room. Megan was amazing and helped us with our selections providing lots of info on wine and memberships. Had a reservation for dinner in the cave. Loved loved loved eating in there surrounded by barrels and cool temperatures. Ryan was a great server that helped with recommendations and was so nice. We were going to have a drink in the distillery but the service was non existent so we went outside. So glad we did. Mckenna served up yummy drinks and played the best music once the band was done. Such a nice ambiance and fun time. Overall we had an amazing time and will definitely return.

The Cave was absolutely stunning. It gives a candle light dinner a run for its money. My husband and I enjoyed both the food and ambiance. I can’t wait to come back with my girl friends.

James was an EXCELLENT & very knowledgeable tour host! Very interactive/friendly, wine pours were just right! We will definitely recommend & be back in the future. They had a lovely singer as well on the patio & lunch was fresh & came in a timely manner. Staff was nice! Love that they added new time slots for the tours. Minus one star for confusion on Groupon redemption on their site--confusing to pay for the deal then have to reserve w/card info. Thank you James & staff!

Great experience to have lunch at the cave, very unique style of dining. It does get very cool inside. You also have the option to eating outside with a beautiful view of the hillside. We always stop to have lunch whenever visiting Oak Mountain Winery

Amazing venue! Highlight was the staff! Everyone was very friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about the winery. Thank you Eli and Savannah and all the staff! 🤗 Food was delicious, wine was great and we got a growler of Sangria to go. Sitting in the cave is a must do. Not sure I will go to any other winery. 😊

The wait staff were absolutely wonderful and very connected to their customers. One of the first questions each member of the staff asked was if it was our first time, which it was and they did everything they could to make our experience as great as they could. Everything was going fine but my wife’s food (the filet medallion) came out lower than rare when she ordered it to be medium. We did come at a later time and were the last guests to leave, so it could have been rushed, but the meat got sent back three times and even on the last attempt, the food was still rare. Needless to say the food was disappointing, but the wine and staff were what make us want to come back. (We’ll definitely come back at an earlier time) Thank you Mike! As well as the young woman host who sat us and took care of us, we didnt catch your name but you both took care of us and ensured that we get compensated above and beyond the call of duty.
