   The location with the sun setting over the ocean was truly spectacular. Alfresco dining with the sea breeze was quite comfortable. The food was excellent, beautiful, and delicious. Our service was outstanding.  Of course, sushi at an upper end resort, it was quite expensive but worth the splurge.

   They didn’t do anything for my finances birthday. The chicken skewers were undercooked and they just took it off the bill. The truffle ribeye we usually get at our local Nobu was DOUBLE the price as was the side of rice and the drinks were more expensive as well. Basically far from our usual great experience at Nobu in socal.

   Summer is an absolute rockstar and highly recommend requesting her to take you on the Nobu journey! My wife and I were fortunate to meet Chef Nobu during our Maui farewell dinner. We wish we could give her a 10 star review!

   For a nobu location this one is right up there You really can’t beat the views, vibe, service, and overall excellent experience This is my 8th Nobu so obv the miso blackened cod is a staple. Everything else is immaculate as always

   Let me start by saying we are not foodies. I felt adventurous and decided to give Nobu a try. I'm so happy we did! The service was excellent. The food and flavors were different from our usual Midwest fare but still approachable and familiar in all the right ways. Fine dining in a comfortable atmosphere.

    Nobu did not rise to the promise or price point for what we received. The cocktails were delicious, the hot dishes were good, but the sushi was awful. They price their nigiri per piece, but then you have to purchase a minimum of two. Just price them per two pieces! But over $20 for two pieces of subpar salmon nigiri was laughable. The tuna was bland. The salmon was extremely fishy tasting (which historically is not normal for this fish). The Lava Rock Wagyu was fun and delicious. The Miso Black Cod they are famous for was our favorite dish. All in all, this is a one and done (or a don’t do at all). I’m sure there are better sushi restaurants for less money on the island.
