I haven't been to this restaurant in awhile so I decided to try it again. It was wonderful. The service was great and the food was so very good. Lot's of interesting choices on the menu. I will definitely go back.

Everything was perfect! Drew our wait was great, the food ( we had pasta dishes) was phenomenal- I felt like I was back in Italy. The restaurant was not crowded so there was no noise level. The only negative was parking nearby was difficult.

The food and service were excellent. The fish special of black drum over paella was a unique combination of favors that made the dish exceptional. Also, the cap steak is such a special cut of meat. The new owners have continued the fine dining tradition of Nino's.

Absolutely delicious! Handmade EVERYTHING! The service was fantastic, all the food was amazing & it was our first time visiting - we’ll definitely be back! I’m just upset it took me so long to go eat there! It’s a must try, and trust me, it won’t be your last.

The noise at dinner was deafening in the full restaurant. We could not carry on a conversation without shouting. We asked the owner to turn off the music which could be heard in the background but not identified because of the yelling from other diners, and he refused. We had been at the restaurant very many times in years past (with former ownership) at which time the ambiance was elegant, with very little noise from other diners. It used to to one of our 2 favorite restaurants in the city but unfortunately it is no longer the case. What was intended as a relaxing anniversary dinner turned into a stressful dining experience.

A Perfect Night at Nino’s – Unforgettable Food, Service, and Hospitality We recently celebrated my wife’s 50th birthday at Nino’s in Baton Rouge, and I cannot say enough about how exceptional the entire experience was. From the moment we walked in, everything felt personal, elevated, and effortless. The food was absolutely phenomenal—each dish was perfectly prepared, beautifully plated, and bursting with flavor. Every bite reminded us why Nino’s has such a strong reputation for refined Italian cuisine in Baton Rouge. The drinks were equally impressive—creative, balanced, and thoughtfully paired with the meal. The wait staff was outstanding—attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely welcoming. They anticipated what we needed before we even had to ask and made us feel like we were the only table in the room. But what truly set the evening apart was the personal attention from the owners. Their hospitality was heartfelt and sincere, and their passion for what they do is obvious in every detail. They added a special touch that meant the world to us—a handwritten birthday card waiting at the table for my wife. It was thoughtful, elegant, and deeply appreciated. If you are looking for a dining experience that combines incredible food, impeccable service, and genuine warmth, Nino’s is second to none. We will absolutely be back—and recommending it to everyone we know.
