We had a great dinner and wonderful service on the first night of Chanukah. The only thing we were not fond of was the mushroom barley soup-it was just too salty.
Everything was great, made me homesick for NY. The latkes were perfect! Roastbeef is always rare like I like it.
Please be ware that New York Deli News REFUSED to give us credit for our completed Open Table reservation. Their Reubens are delicious.
Very pleased with the quality of the food and the many choices. Glad that breakfast is served all the time
Excellent open face pastrami Ruben with pickles and Dr Brown’s cream soda.
Went late evening with 2 adult children. Seated quickly, noise level low, waitress knowledgeable. Large number choices. Portions large, French fries surprisingly good. Tuna salad, egg omelettes, grilled Reuben all good. But Chopped liver sandwich very heavy and dense. Took home for dog who loved it.
Perfect in every way!
Always good food and it's a nice quiet place to eat. Also, I've never had to wait.
Perfect in every way!
First time for their prime rib dinner. I thought it was delicious. Made reservations to ensure the prime rib was available. We reserved the 16 oz cut each however the cut I received was clearly a lot smaller then my wife's. No big deal really, it was good.
Bought a loaf of rye bread to take home as well.
We will return again for the prime rib dinner.
We had a great experience at New York Deli News on Friday. Server was great. He had a wonderful sense of humor and also was very helpful. Food was wonderful! We will be back!
Good as usual!
Great soup. Rye bread outstanding
Just good deli food
Attentive service. Tasty moist pastrami on rye. Dr Brown’s Creme Soda. Pickles on table...good NY style.
The restaurant was great, the food fantastic, prices about what I would expect. Only thing I would change is their choice of bread. They dontoffer challah bread for any of their sandwiches and coming from a Jewish family that's the best way to eat a sandwich.
Great Deli. The corned beef was lean and delicious. The pickles and coleslaw were excellent. Our friend had the brisket wrap and said it was excellent, as well. A go-to place for deli food.
Portions are huge. Since were staying at a hotel we were not able to take anything home. Gefilte fish was good but chopped liver a bit dry. Overall, not a great deal to complain about, but also nothing awesome.
The Friday night prime rib is outstanding ...great food, large quantity, and great value.
The big disappointment was the quality of the corned beef sandwich. The meat was awful and not anywhere close to a "deli" corned beef sandwich.
My husband and I both had the corned beef and pastrami Reuben. Honestly, it was better than then one that I had at Katz's Deli in NYC a few years back. We enjoyed every bite! We also enjoyed the cheesecake which one of the best I've ever had.
The restaurant is spacious and the portions are large, but not insane. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Best deli in Colorado
It was useless to use this since they didn't even have the reservation. It is like they don't even use this so why be part of if it.
great food, great service. Love this place! Glad it hasn't changed with the new owners.
Good quality of food and ample amounts!
The food here is always great. I look forward to meals at this restaurant. Service is always good-fast, friendly.
It's was a horrible time. I made reservations through this app and they didn't have the reservation at the restaurant. An hour goes by still no seat. To be fair we had a party of 6 and the had a party of 31 from earlier still dinning. When another party of 7 came in after us and didn't have a reservation was sat down before us after an "hour wait" we left. Thank you but no. Looks like a great place but I'll have to pass on it next time.
Unfortunately the New York Deli and News isn’t what it used to be. We came in on a busy holiday night with a reservation and were seated quickly. The server greeted us and took a drink order but didn’t bring them for a little over 20 minutes even after we ordered food and pointed out he forgot. He forgot to bring them even after bringing drinks to other tables who sat after us. He later blamed his forgetfulness on being at the restaurant all day. This excuse doesn’t fly with me when dining out. The food left something to be desired for both diners. The corned beef was to think to be thin cut and too thin to be thick cut, also had little flavor requiring lots of salt for the expected taste. Matzoh ball soup was good but at $2 more per bowl than the other nearby deli not worth the $7 price. The restaurant has not been cleaned as it should with a greasy film over most of the surfaces. Sadly this was outr last time at this restaurant.
The only restaurant in Denver that has real New York food
Our server made the whole experience feel like we were at a funeral. The sandwiches were okay.. not the best. The chicken noodle soup was the best but you can just make at home. We probably won't be back.
Unfortunately couldn't even get into the building for the reservation so ended up going someplace else.
Thanks, Donna
Love the food, prime rib on Friday nights are the best. Sandwiches are awesome and service has always been great
The new York deli news is a good place to eat, it has all the stuff that I used to get in New York, yummy food
We were seated very promptly, very impressed with the large variety of the menu.
The portion size of our entrees was amazing (enough for left over lunch the next day).
Our waitress was very attentive. We will definitely be going back and I will be telling friends to dine there.
Person who sat us was rude and we literally got sat at the kitchen when there were other tables available. Menu was busy with no descriptions. Overall selection was not that good. Probably won't be back.
Food is always served quickly and with a friendly smile. Variety is solid (including all day breakfast). The restaurant is a bit dated and would probably attract new customers with an investment in some modernization. Overall, you will not be disappointed.
