There has been a change in staff. They need to learn about how to keep from being intrusive. It is not the same as when Patrick was there . Hopefully they will learn soon because it is a great restaurant.

Service staff was very friendly and attentive. Water glass never dropped below half. Apps and drinks were top notch. Bolognese, Halibut and Black Truffle Gnocchi entrees were all good. We enjoyed the Amalfi Coast centered menu. Many good options for GF folks too. Thank You

Nerano is the best restaurant in Los Angeles BY FAR. The food is consistently outstanding and their menu is one of those that has so many savory choices that is hard to choose! We often discuss our orders in advance and try each other’s orders. Also, in a city that has grown accustomed to having clueless waiters who are actually struggling actors, Nerano’s professional staff stands out. Their outdoor area is quiet and not out on the boulevard like so many other restaurants. All in all, it is a 10 in every way.

The pasta dish I had was very tasty, but the pasta was a little overcooked, especially for pasta freshly made at the restaurant... That was a little disappointing.

I’ve walked past this restaurant many times over the years, and finally stopped in for a meal. The food was excellent, the outdoor setting blissful, and the service was superb. Really enjoyed ourselves, and expect to make it a regular when on my travels through the area.

The menu is very limited. There were 4 fish entrees 1 chicken and1 steak. However there were 7 pizza choices. Great wine and cocktail list but very expnsive. Toscana is one of it's sister restaurants in Brentwood and it is much superior.

I used to go to Nerano quite frequently because I lived by ten thousand. I always LOVED dining there, but not anymore. the Restaurant’s food quantity and service has gone down hill. The wagyu meat ball pasta was VERY dry and SALTY in the last two times when I was dinging there and coffee drink they made specially for me was horrible. They also has stopped playing the black and white movies, it’s a shame, because it’s one of the reasons why I want to bring my friends there to dine. Needless to say I won’t be dining there again. Now I have the chore of finding new restaurants that me and my friend can enjoy.

Overpriced ($68 for lamb chops??) but good food and service. Good, contemporary ambience with visible, glassed-in kitchen. Waiter said he was at Vincenti for 20 years and came to Nerano with the chef, who was the chef at Vincenti. That explained the somewhat cocky attitude, which was always an unpleasant aspect of Vincenti in the past (although not recently). There are so many good Italian restaurants around that I probably won’t hurry back. Prefer the incredibly gracious treatment — and wonderful food — at Sfixio, also in Beverly Hills.

A welcome addition to Century City. Food is excellent. Part I like best is is can be special occasion or a wonderful neighbor spot for a salad and pizza. Great service!

Great addition to the neighborhood and my first time dining here. Food is really excellent and different from the usual Italian restaurant menu. Maitre d’ was very welcoming. Service was spotty: table partially cleared when one of us was still eating. Music was a little too loud for quiet conversation. That said, I will definitely go back.

Nerano is a truly great restaurant. The experience starts with a warm welcome from the manager and hostess who had clearly read my request on OpenTable for a quiet table and had arranged for one to be available (not always possible, of course, if others requested first). Then a similarly warm welcome from the great waiter - who described a wide variety of wines by the glass that were reasonably priced. After the drinks arrived he told us about the off-the-menus specials (I chose the prosciutto and melon which were prefect, the portion was large enough to be a main course; my friend chose a beautifully composed salad). The special swordfish was fresh and cooked perfectly, served with a nice array of vegetables. My friend chose a wonderful pasta. We ordered a tasty roasted cauliflower for the table. We shared a sorbet-based desert. A perfect meal, beautifully pressented by people at every level who make you feel at home. Run, don’t walk, if you want a special meal.

Nerano was excellent. Although I rated it as everyday dining it is because of the proximity to my home. We had a simple meal. On other occasions we have a a wonderful Italian dining experience. Service is always warm and caring. Nice for lunch, simple dinner or special occasion. Truly top experience.

Love the food here, consistent and always delicious. Service seemed to be lacking because of the short staff (2 servers, 1 busser and 1 bartender). Servers seemed to have arrived at 7, we sat at 6:45 and waited 15min before a server came over and no servers were around that we saw. The Hostess and chef were running around as well, but not chaotically, just trying to make it all work. It was hard to watch being that I’m in the industry. Will still come back, just hopefully with more timely service.

Lunch for 2 on a Summer Saturday-the restaurant was very quiet .. We were assisted by the wonderful Jana. Really enjoyed the pizza bread, salmon carpaccio, burrata with eggplant and especially the gnudi with truffles. The beignets for dessert were also outstanding. We returned the next night for dinner with friends- the experience was not as good. The pizza bread and beignets seemed to be day old and the Grilled Dover Sole was disappointingly overcooked. We will try again for lunch soon

The food was outstanding. The service was not. I stood at the front desk for five minutes to be taken to my unoccupied table. The waiter avoided our table for 10 minutes with no water or cocktail. His first pass at the table, instead of asking if we would like a drink, he launched into the specials for the evening. Food was timely and tasty. The waiter also claimed twice that he was running in the back to get the fococcia. No focaccia arrived. Main course arrived. The waiter did not. No pouring of wine, water, etc. Bad service took away from the overall experience.

We just finished a second great meal at Nerano. Everything was delicious. The space is bright, airy and casual cool. The service was attentive but never over-bearing. This is on our short list for out of town visitors.

Consistently outstanding. Simply one of the best restaurants on the Westside of Los Angeles -- a gem. Front of the house service is impeccable -- Patrick, the manager, and his team are true pros -- and Chef Michele Lisi is a maestro, turning out dish after dish that are as good as what you'd eat on the Amalfi Coast, which inspires this well-curated menu.

Starting with the beautiful crudite (instead of bread), Nerano did not disappoint! Tasty, yummy risotto and perfectly prepared Icelandic cod. Plan to return soon.
